[ Dave turns the 'Gear off, himself, and makes his meandering way back to the hotel, in no particular hurry. He eventually comes to lean on Rose's door and knock rhythmically. ]

[[Not only is he greeted with Rose, but that bubble tea he requested. Wonderful service, huh?]]

I appreciate you making time to see little ol' me on such short notice. I know it must be difficult what with all of the women lining up for your attention.

[ Simply the best. He takes the bubble tea with a toasting gesture and takes a sip. ]

A guy's gotta prioritize. If I can't make time for my ectotwin, what's my life coming to?

It's reassuring to know I have become somewhat of a high-tier priority then.

[[Stepping out of the door, she gestures towards the living room.]]

Sure. Not that I have any fucking clue what I'm doing here, but somehow I'm sure you're about to open some metaphorical velvet curtains and enlighten the hell out of me.

[[That metaphorical velvet curtain is likely the various knitting supplies scattered around the den area. Skeins of yarn are clumped together in corresponding colors here and there, knitting needles are splayed out on the table for easy access, there's a nearly finished project of some recognizable shape in green on the couch...]]

You could say that. I have a favor and a question for you, specifically, though enjoying your company is also not out of the question.

[ He scans the room briefly, keeping his ear on Rose's words while he tries to decide whether he should ask her to make him a fucking cocoon. Apparently, it gets really fucking cold here. ]

[[Picking up a measuring tape, she walks over to stand in front of Dave. Without a word, she moves to lift the arm of his that isn't in use holding the bubble tea up.]]

[ He obliges her request, standing mostly still while sipping at his drink. ]

[[He's greeted with nothing but a thoughtful hum as she begins taking measurements. First the length and circumference of his arm which is written down before she moves on to the length of his torso.]]
