[[Today, when the gear turns on, you get a lovely view of the sky and the calming sounds of water nearby. It's a beautiful day, for those of you not outside

Dratini and Magikarp. [ And you can see her quickly flicking through the pages of her book. Or maybe not but she's looking down and concentrating very hard ] I've found them. [ She's holding the pages up to keep reading between them, making little 'uh huh' noises every so often ] Huh... they're so different. But wait... Dragon? I guess the myths went a little wrong then. [ Or not always... but they're not here so she's oblivious ]
You can say that, I have a little sheep. Myths are legends, old tales that are supposedly thousands of years old and no one knows if they were true or just stories. The dragons in those tend to have wings, breathe fire and are pretty scary.
Mareep, correct? And yes, I'm aware of what a myth is, simply curious as to what myths you were speaking of. [[With a chuckle, she pulls out her own handbook, flipping through a few pages before holding up the page containing Charizard to the screen.]]
Got it in one. [ And Kitty nods ] Pretty much. They look a lot more scaley, too, and sometimes walk on four legs but that's a pretty good example. [ Now she hopes to never meet one ]
[[Flipping a few pages back, she shows her a Charmander now.]]
Charizard, the Pokemon I just showed you, evolves from this little creature. Pokemon, once they reach certain levels or requirements, evolve into larger creatures. Sometimes very different. Dratini will become a dragon similar to those you know of, only I'm unsure if he will breathe fire.
[[Putting the book back down, she motions off camera. After a few moments, an Ampharos appears behind her.]]
Charmander doesn't look so bad, kind of cute actually. [ And changing? Wow. She hadn't left to adventure yet - to even start training - but she wondered what it would be like. Ampharos kind of helped on that a bit ]
Wow. You can see the colour resemblance but it's definitely less sheepy.
Maybe comparing them to animals complicates it? It sounds simple at first until you can't think of any. What's he like? My Mareep's been really friendly.
I suppose that's true. Oh, hey. [ Kitty's now fishing her Pokedex out to get a better (and quicker) overview of Ampharos. And in the background you can hear: 'Ampharos, the Light Pokemon. The bright light on its tail can be seen far away. It has been treasured since ancient times as a beacon.' ] I suppose if you ever lose your torch you have a back up? [ ... so lame ]
Wow. Maybe battling is where it finds its confidence?

They are indeed. This is a Dratini, while the...pile of fish here are all Magikarp. Dragon and Water types respectively.
[[It's okay, these things take time. And there are just some things the handbook won't teach you.]]

This used to be a Mareep.

Indeed. I'm actually quite unsure what he is now. He obviously isn't a sheep, but having evolved from one it would be odd for him to be anything else.

And Halos is...very shy. Very awkward as well. Though very adept during battle.

Indeed, that's true. And perhaps yes. I would not doubt that.
