[Just outside Violet City, Nagi's Prinplup is fighting an NPC. The fight is pretty one-sided and after it wins, the penguin begins to flash in a pretty recognizable way.]
It's finally strong enough to reach its final form!
[For once, Nagi sounds more like a kid than an 18 year old. He's pretty excited until the bird stops changing....]

[Nagi looks up -- the Empoleon is a few inches bigger than him. His visible eye is wide in shock.]
You're bigger than I expected. Maybe we should continue to Azalea now that you're evolved. There'll be another Gym there.
[Empoleon nods quickly. Only now does Nagi notice the light for his Gear.]
Since this is on...is there anyone near Violet that I can arrange a temporary trade with? My Haunter will evolve that way.
