[The Psyduck turns on the Pokégear when he runs around to squirt Nagi's new little Piplup for no good reason. Piplup, in turn, squirts him right back until Psyduck gets a headache. I had considered it for some time; at the moment, many of my own are either ice and water or ghost-types.

From what I've seen, they have few weaknesses. And both of mine have particular moves that are quite useful in a difficult battle.

Unfortunately, I've found their personalities can be somewhat hard to deal with. [Sigh.]

Not that they're difficult to train, merely a bit too...playful may be the right word.

I had a Psyduck for some time, myself. Though I've not seen the other one before, what exactly is it?

It's a Piplup. They apparently evolve into much larger, more powerful penguin Pokémon.

The harmless-looking ones do seem to get more powerful as they go along. Psyduck in particular surprised me, I have to admit.

Are they that much better as Golducks? Mine still has a dozen or so levels to go before it gets there.
