We supposedly slept through these three days. But that doesn't explain how I managed to get past the Sudowoodo.

Slept through them? But...how can that be?

Where are you now Mr. Harvey?

Magic. Or lies. Both are possible.

On the road to Ecruteak. We were supposed to go there soon, but I never thought I'd be teleported halfway. What about you? Where did you end up?

They both don't sound very pleasant. I wish I knew just what happened during that time...

Oh! You're that far ahead! I'm somewhere just outside Azalea.

I think I was dreaming, at some point. But other than that...

Azalea? The second Gym is there, and I think you could find Bug Pokémon in the nearby forest. But the city itself is mostly small and quiet.

Dreaming? I can't recall much expect...Phoenix. That's all I can remember! Something happened between us, multiples somethings, but I just can't seen to put my finger on it! That and...being frightened...

That sounds lovely. A bit of peace is just what I need right now.

...I dreamed about my wife, amongst others. It felt nice.

I think you'll find plenty of it there. All the young people I talked to used the word 'boring' to describe it.

Your wife? What is she like?

Boring? No, peace is never boring. I suppose some people might describe me as boring.

She is the kindest, gentlest woman I have ever met. She has strong beliefs, and she does everything she can to uphold them. She has a great stubborn streak, too. She is a gifted healer, and the best archer in the kingdom. I would not wish for anyone else by my side.

You're certainly not boring. People merely cannot appreciate the true worth of peace and kindness.

[Iris smiles.] She sounds lovely. If you don't mind telling me...what is she called? Your wife I mean. I'm sure she has a beautiful name.

Yes, that's probably true. My friends are just such interesting people it's hard to compare sometimes...

Her name is Rosa. Which is why Rosie is named Rosie.

In the short term, interesting people overshadow the quiet ones. But in the long term, people ask themselves 'What sort of person would get along so well with someone so visible?' And the quiet ones get their chance to shine.

Rosa...oh how pretty! Was she named after a flower too?

How sweet of you to name Rosie after her. I think Feenie would get mad if I named a Pokemon after him. [She giggles.]

Chance to shine...Johto has certainly helped me meet many kind people.

She was. And I think that naming a child or a Pokémon after a loved one is a way to honor them.

Most of the people who arrive here are quite kind. I've not yet met someone who left a bad impression, discounting people such as the boy who attacked the people in New Bark Town.

To honor them? I'm glad. I would like to think I'm honoring Sister Bikini. ...Maybe I should name my Pokemon after Feenie after all...

That's good. I haven't really met anyone like that either. I'm glad you haven't met my sister Mr. Harvey.

Make sure to give his name to a Pokémon that resembles him. If they're too different, it loses its meaning.

...Does she get along well with people? When she's not... [-out to kill them?]

A Pokemon that resembles Feenie? ...Do you mean physically?

[Iris bites her lip.] Yes, Dahlia can be quite social. She usually puts on a helpless and cheerful persona in order to trick those that don't know her true nature. As long as you stay on her good side, and don't learn too much, you should be safe from her.
