[ The pichu nods her head as Rena gave her the signal to come out of hiding. ]
Yusukee--- a-ah!
[ boom! Well there goes her plan. She tripped over a rock as quickly as she could yell out more greetings. ]

[Aaand rather than go help her up like any decent human being would, Yusuke here is just gonna... stay put and give Rena a funny look instead. Puu, at least, is more of a gentleman, and abandons his fight with Poliwag to fly over to Rena and check on her. Upon landing next to her head, Puu takes one look at her face before proceeding to dust it with his wings, which were already kind of filthy thanks to similar attempts to clean Yusuke up. At least Rena's current state of dishevelment was considerably easier to work with.]
... Y'know, you could have just said 'hi' like a normal person. [He gives Puu a look.] --c'mon, Puu, lay off the lady. You're gonna end up losing the sandwich to Fishface over here if you're not careful.

[Puu nuzzles Rena's palm, clearly pleased by the attention. Yusuke rolls his eyes.] Riiight. You're gonna have to try harder'n that if you're planning on surprising anybody with that kinda entrance. I could tell you were there even before you fell on your face. [Granted, he didn't know it was her specifically or where exactly she'd been hiding, but uh, still.
He watches Puu suck up to Rena for a moment longer, and then looks away.] So what's up? You're not out stalking me, are you? [Clearly craving some love as well, Poliwag toddles on over and plop himself down on one of Yusuke's shoes, staring beseeching up into his trainer's eyes. Yusuke stares back down at him, eyes narrowed. Who do you think he is, you weird fish, your mother or something? >:|]

[ Rena was tempted to grab the Swablu, but she told herself it was the wrong thing to do. It was Yusuke's Pokemon after all. She couldn't steal from a friend. ]
Ehh? Really? Well Rena will try harder next time, yes she will. No, no~ Rena wasn't stalking you just wanted to see what you were up too since you were in town. Rena's trying to train for the Violet City gym, but thinking of going to Sprout Tower to catch another friend~
