[For awhile, Laguna just watches. Leon may not be the Squall from his world, but he was still Squall. Well. Leon. Whatever, Laguna still had a fatherly attachment to this one, even if his own had gone home.]
[ He gives Laguna a sour look. No one's called him that in twenty years, and he isn't about to let a relative stranger--especially one claiming to be Squall's father--start. ]

It isn't until Laguna speaks that Leon double-takes so fast that he whirls and almost slams his head into some loose pipes. He pauses, incredulous. ]
What did you just call me?

[ Just. Baffled. His nose scrunches up a bit in distaste before he moves to go back to work. ]

[Well, at least Leon wasn't angry about it. Just... shocked. Though the nose scrunch was hilarious. But Laguna managed to refrain from laughing.

Honestly, giving me an angry look is way better than fearing for my life. Kid or not, it's just a habit for those under 30.
