[ Greetings, Johto!

It appears that Leon has somehow found his way on Cianwood beach. How? Who the fuck knows.

He's naked from the waist up, feet in the water. Next to him? This big guy:

['Sup, Leon. There's someone standing not that far down the beach, just out of reach of the water. She should be familiar to you, what with the pink hair and all, but...well, something's off. Her clothes are torn and she's got blood all over her, along with looking like she's about to fall over.

Wat do now?]

[ He's rushing over at the sight of her, because what the hell happened. He catches her by the shoulders. ]

Lightning--!

[The moment he grabs her by the shoulders, the woman turns to face Leon. There's blood on her face, but...it's not hers. Not that it actually seems to matter whose it it, considering that there's something else to deal with.

That being that her eyes are a glowing yellow instead of their normal icy blue. Almost like a Heartless, really.]

[ He pauses suddenly, letting go and backing up with a bit of a curl to his lip. ]

What did you do to Lightning?

What do you think? [That's no longer a teasing smirk. It's filled with malice and an undertone of mockery as she gestures to her wounds.]

We fought, and there's only one way I'm here and she isn't. [Is she going to have to fill in that blank, Leon? Because she will if she has to.]

[ A snarl. ]

You're lying. Lightning wouldn't fall to the darkness.

[ She's too strong for that, he tells himself. ]

[Smirk. You don't scare her, Mr. Lion.]

She didn't. Not to the darkness you know so well. She fell to my blade.

[After a long and hard fight, going by those cuts she's got all over her.]

[ His gut twists. He forces himself to stay calm and not try to wipe that smirk off her face. ]

What are you?

A Shadow. Everything she could never accept about herself. [If at all possible, the smirk gets a little more cruel.] In the end, all those little things got her killed.

[ His eyes narrow. ]

I have no reason to believe you.

[Smirk, fading. Why do they have to be smart, even when she's not exactly lying?]

Then why isn't she here instead of me? You know she wouldn't let someone who attacked her get away like that.

[ As soon as he sees her smile fade, he knows she's lying. It's his turn to smirk. ]

If she were badly wounded, she'd go get treated, not sit around and let you deal the finishing blow.

[Smart man. But two can play at this game.]

She would have if she could have. But you should know that once someone who relies on speed runs out of stamina, they're out. Especially if they're too angry and pig-headed to think straight and retreat. [Smirk is back, though it's rather fake now.] You know how she gets.

[ He shakes his head. She has no power over him now; he's certain of his conviction. ]

I think I've heard enough.

[ He pushes past her--and keeps walking. Wat do now, shadow!Light? ]

[Wat do? Simple. Scoff and return to looking out to sea. She won't chase and pine, she's said what she's needed to say. After all, the real one won't be coming back again.]
