Pokemon:
Meganium ( Starter )
☂ Ability: Overgrow- Powers up Grass-type moves in a pinch.
☂ Gender: Female. ( ♀ )
☂ Level: 46.
☂ Move Set:
☁ Main: Razor Leaf, PoisonPowder, Synthesis, Petal Dance.
☁ Past/Secondary: Growl, Reflect, Tackle, Natural Gift, Magical Leaf, Sweet Scent, Light Screen, Body Slam.
☂ Nature: Docile.
☂ Nickname: Sometimes referred to as Chikadee.
☂ Personality/Other: Loves, absolutely loves to learn new things. Hence, she gets more excitable than most when learning a new move. Chikadee looks at battling as more of a game and prefers a friendly atmosphere. This is where her leaf comes in to play, as the aromas emitted from there helps with that cause.* However, when in a match, she`s the type to stick it out to the end and doesn`t like either herself or her opponent quitting. The grass-type and Sakura seem to have a good relationship, and the pokémon will listen to whatever the pinkette tells her, even if with a grudge if not so keen to the action. All the same Chikadee gets distraught when Sakura takes her notions the wrong way, in which her dampened mood doesn`t get better until the issue gets fixed. Like others of her kind, she loves to sunbath and is happiest lying in the grass under the sun during the day.
Only one thing, breaks her usual cycle, and that`s Hoothoot. Things had been this way ever since a wild Hoothoot they encountered ( right after Chikadee learned Razor Leaf ) decided to run away instead of finish its match-up like a good little pokémon. Of course, it had to be night-time when this occurred, and the chances of finding the same one almost impossible--not finding him had been a sore-spot for the grass-type to this day. So, she will turn around and challenge your Hoothoot on sight. Or, if she hears a rustling and thinks it a sound familiar to that of the bird flying, she will bound towards it unless stopped otherwise. With these qualities, it`s not surprising that Sakura gets more training done with her in the night time than in the day.
*Since evolving into Bayleef, her leaf`s aroma makes pokémon more excited, energized and even aggressive at times in contrast to the calming effect it had as a Chikorita. After evolving into Meganium, her petals tended to calm pokémon down, mitigating any desire they have to fight, much to the dismay of mentioned grass-type. Although it gives her the upper hand, it annoys her somewhat, but she's slowly getting used to it.
Also, since becoming taller than her trainer ( wow, at least a feet--talk about growth spurts ), the idea of piggyback rides started appealing to Chikadee, though her main customer is Pip, as Sakura is a rare ( more like reluctant, though she appreciates the consideration ) participant and Drift takes the initiative to declare that he's fine on his own. She's also become something of a mediator towards Pip and Drift, pushing the former to be more active in battles, and keeping an eye on the latter during his sour moments ( which are numerous, considering his soil-sport persona ), while at the same time, attempting to keep the two from flying off when breezes come.
Skiploom ( 2nd Pokémon )
☂ Ability: Leaf Guard- Prevents status problems in sunny weather.
☂ Gender: Male. ( ♂ )
☂ Level: 20.
☂ Move Set:
☁ Main: Synthesis, Stun Spore, Sleep Powder, Bullet Seed.
☁ Past/Secondary: Splash, Tail Whip, Tackle, PoisonPowder.
☂ Nature: Bashful.
☂ Nickname: Sometimes referred to as Pip.
☂ Personality/Other: Now here`s a peculiar story. Little Pip was not found as he is now, but as an egg. Yes, a baby egg. After two tries.** Now, Pip is a stark contrast to his normally social type as he is decidedly bashful, shy, even timid. He is afraid of large crowds of people and will hide behind Sakura or Chikadee given the chance. The fact that he was on accident dropped as an egg once by a well-meaning Chikadee ( who was curious to see the egg while her trainer was in the restroom ) may or may not have something to do with it. Also add that on the first day since his hatch, he was blown away and into a nearby passing group of trainers. "Hoppip!" The little guy was traumatized for a long while there.
However Sakura and Chikadee are working on that. It takes some coaxing, but he eventually comes out. He is starting to get comfortable with their travel mates and their pokémon, but still has a ways to go. In battle, he is equally as bashful and shy, but when provoked, will attack. And then run back to mommy--err, Sakura when the match is done. Sakura will scold him a lot, but out of concern since he needs to learn. That, and she feels she might baby him too much otherwise. ( Which she ends up doing from time to time despite. ) Pip has a tendency to tear-up, or in other words, is a bit of a crybaby at times. Which should go away or at least lessen as he grows and levels up. Hopefully.
**See, Chikadee wanted to know if the waters had receded a little, but of course it was still flooding so no luck there. Just as Sakura was about to go get them back inside Dark Cave, the grass-type saw something a little ways off. It was curved, and was stuck in place by some branches that kept it from following the current onward. From where they stood, it could easily pass as a Hoothoot, which spelled disaster as Chikadee bounded off after it, not really caring for the water. Naturally, the pinkette came after her pokémon. When they both reached it, they were surprised ( and disappointed on Chikadee`s side ) to find that it was an egg. It was the first time either one of them had come across such. However, when the grass-type poked it, a strange light suddenly overcame the egg, and out of nowhere, the egg became a peculiar looking fish. And the fish dove into the water in a moment's notice, and resurfaced outside the barrier of branches, swimming off with a "Karp!"
This left a certain trainer and her pokémon speechless. A second egg decided to float into the barrier at that moment. The grass-type hesitated, before reaching out to touch it. But before she even touched the surface the egg became surrounded by light, and transformed into another fish. Who took one look at Chikadee and was decidedly scared of her, and thus, swam off in a hurry, effectively breaking the flimsy barrier. "...You`re kidding me." With that, Chikadee let out a small "Chikaaa...", devastated by the circumstances. The weather wasn`t nice, there wasn`t a hoothoot, and she scared away not one, but two pokémon in one go. Sakura could only sigh as she petted the grass-type. They were soaked from head to foot at this point, so there was no way they were going in without some compensation. No. Out of the corner of her eye, the pinkette spotted a third floating egg coming towards them at that moment, and grabbed it as soon as it came within reach. Without saying a word, the pinkette turned and headed back towards the cave with egg in hands, a teary-eyed confused Chikadee in tow. The two were surprised when the egg hatched not then, but a few days later, and not into a Magikarp.

☂ Ability: Unburden- Raises speed if a held items is used.
☂ Gender: Male. ( ♂ )
☂ Level: 26.
☂ Move Set:
☁ Main: Constrict, Gust, Focus Energy, Payback, Evil Eye.
☁ Past/Secondary: Minimize, Constrict, Astonish.
☂ Nature: Serious.
☂ Nickname: Sometimes referred to as Drift.
☂ Personality/Other: For Drift, it was a matter of chance that he was one of the ones that Pip tried to hold onto on that fateful windy day. (
See event here. ) He`s something of a pessimist and hasn`t warmed up all too well to his team yet. If one were to get into his mind, his feelings towards them would amount to something of discontentment.*** Definitely not one to mind battling, but would rather fight alone than with a partner who seems "weak" at a glance. Training-wise, as long as the other stay way over there--or rather, a certain Pip--he goes for it. Anytime, any day. He`ll deal with his situation, as that is the only reasonable thing to do, but it doesn`t mean he`ll like it. More than likely, Drift will also be indifferent to the general public. He also tends to hold in more respect those who seem in higher powers.
***Chikadee: He feels she is too enthusiastic, even if she has mellowed down considerably since her first meeting with Sakura. As long as that grass-type leaves him alone when he wants, he won`t mind her too much. That, and if she stops looking at him as though he was some kind of new friend. Because no, he does not want to be associated with you. So stop asking.
Pip: Hate is a strong word, but what he thinks of this little guy is something really close to it. For one, it was his fault that he even got tangled up in this mess. He could have been roaming free, whisking away as he pleases, but no. Things occurred otherwise. Another thing which irks him horribly is the fact that he feels that Pip isn`t living up as a man he`s supposed to be. The crying and clinging makes his resentment all the worse.
Sakura: There`s some resentment in her capturing him, but his desire to whisk her away outshines any bad feelings he has towards her about that instance. He willing follows her instructions, if only to get on her good side, awaiting the day he could spirit her off to another place--without those other companion pokémon of hers.
