[ for once (strangely enough, he's not usually the type to want to be seen all that often), Suzaku is opting for the voice function. he's just a little too thoughtful today; it's bordering on brooding. during the feed, the faint purr of a feline can be heard, a never-ending faint rumble in the background. ]

Does there-is there anyone else here ( Read more... )

They say that time doesn't move in our worlds while we are here.

As far as I know, all the people who went back to their worlds and then returned to Johto agree on that. There is also the people who have fallen asleep and returned to their worlds for a while.

But... what about people who come from the same place, but different times? I've heard that's possible. What if they arrive from a time much later than the people who are already here? That would make the entire theory of time freezing... wrong, in a way.

I arrived to Johto about four months before my Grandfather did...
However when my Grandfather arrived, he turned out to be more than fifty years younger than when I last saw him in my world.

I'd rather believe that time freezes for each individual person, and that Johto simply loves to play with our minds by taking people at different times of their world's timelines and then bringing them all here at the same time here.

That could still be problematic.

[ if Zero (Lelouch, if his hunch is correct) is out there screwing around while he can't keep an eye on him-and stop him-then... well, he's not sure he can trust himself not to mess it up. he'd rather personally make sure. ]

There isn't much we can do about it anyway.

It's not as if staying or leaving were conscious choices... But if most agree on this world returning people at the exact moment it took them, then I suppose that's proof at least.

If I had to worry about something, it would be about the existence of a being or place who can take people from different times and worlds.

It's a power to be concerned about, yes. Sometimes it's easy to forget about because of our Pokemon and the other confusion here.

It doesn't seem to be out to harm us or anything either... It behaves more like someone who is really bored and wants to watch people do things.

That can't be the only reason. Does someone like that really exist?

I wouldn't be surprised at all to find someone like that, actually.

Something that can toy with life and death probably doesn't have the same priorities as a normal person.

With life and death... [ long, brooding pause. ] You're probably right.

Ah... But I shouldn't turn the conversation to such a grim subject.

It's important to keep your hopes up in these situations.

Mm.

[ he takes a second to get over that bit, but seems relaxed when he speaks again. ]

I don't expect anything catastrophic to happen while I'm here, but...

One can't help but wonder about how things are going back home... I can understand that.

At least there's plenty of things to be distracted by while we're here.
