[ so, what's a zaku to do on a rainy night, having already eaten, trained a little, explored and stared out the window of the Pokémart for a few minutes during a shopping trip, wondering when the rain would end (which undoubtedly earned him an odd look or two)?
cozy up to his egg and read, of course. outside, under an awning, enjoying the fresh air while simultaneously staying mostly dry, he's gone through his trainer manual cover-to-cover several times, but once more can't hurt. after awhile, a thought strikes him and he stands up to get his Pokénav, carrying the precious egg with him -
and as soon as it turns on and begins recording, you all get to witness the miracle of new life!!! by which I mean you get to see Suzaku being shocked as if he was totally not expecting something to be in that egg, especially not something that might pop out all of a sudden!! before long, however, out comes a wriggling, sniffing Growlithe, whom Suzaku engages in an awestruck staring match with. then, finally, he says something: ]
