Action for Goldenrod; Dated to 10/4

[Ken is going to be chilling around Goldenrod for all of this morning. He's finally made it back after going all the way back to Cherrygrove, the horrible foreverplace of the Persona 3 cast. But he got out of there alive, and is now back in Goldenrod and that is what's important. And he has many friends to visit, and places to go see, and things

[Koromaru decides to join him on the bench, just sitting there. His Eevee sitting there with them.]

[He chooses what he's going to say very carefully, thinking for a few moments.] I can help you find a hotel room, today. Sanada-san and Minato-san are here, too. I'll probably be staying with Miles, again.

[...but he wants to stay with you Ken. He looks sad when he tells him this.]

... Miles and I have a lot of things to do, Koromaru. We'll still be in Goldenrod, but we disappear a lot. We won't be far.

[And then Ken gets Koromaru's first words that he's been trying to say all this time.]

...Stay?

[Ken blinks for a moment. He's heard Koro's voice before, but that was a long time ago. It seems natural when he reaches up and pats his head. It probably looks strange from the outside, but the other Koromaru had appreciated it. And the dog who lived in the dorm never said no to headpats.]

.... It's really hard for you, isn't it?

[He just wishes he was the dog he used to be. Being a human is really hard. So he nods again. Just nodding but enjoying the patting of his head.]

I can't take care of you, Koromaru. If I could, I would... [But he's still twelve, trying to figure out how to really take care of himself, getting poisoned by bulbasaurs, attacking teenagers with waterguns and camping in five feet of snow and getting himself sick.

He can't drag Koromaru, who needs someone to teach him how to be human, across Johto.]

[He doesn't mind being dragged around Johto by Ken. He really doesn't. And he doesn't know anyone else here either. Or he hasn't met them in person yet.

He leans on Ken, trying to give him a hug.]

[Ken pats his head again, never having been big on hugs.]

Minato-san is here, too. And Mitsuru-san is somewhere in Johto.

[Koromaru's seen them! But he doesn't really want to leave Ken either...]

... Things'll be okay. It's not like we're not close...

[He knows that, and nods to it. But it's not the same.]

[usedrage]

[It's not like there's much together back home. It's the last day they're in the dorms together for Ken. He just smiles and pats Koro's head again.]

[It's middle of November for Koromaru so he doesn't know he has to say goodbye any time soon. He just looks at Ken and smiles at the pattings.]
