Imagine there is a box that can fit a cat inside. Now, is the cat dead or alive?

Then we don't know where it is. If we take Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle into account, that makes finding the cat that much harder as it could be anywhere.

The more certain you are aware of an object's momentum or position, the less certain you are of the other factor. By placing the cat in the box, you have made yourself aware of the momentum of the cat, therefore you are fully unaware of the position.
