[Somewhere on Route 32, Haruhi pulls out her PokéGear to send out a message. She's wearing a new jacket, one that isn't made out of scraps from her clothes, and a new outfit underneath.]
This music and everything is really weird, but nothing's really happening so I guess it's okay. Does it have to do with those weird pokémon? We haven't seen any yet, either.
[She looks around, then sees something and appears to have remembered something!]
Ah, Kasanoda--I'm sorry for not contacting you when we were in Violet. Kyouya-senpai was pretty adamant about moving on while the travel time is shorter. I think we're going to stop in Goldenrod, so--[Haruhi stops and looks up in front of her. Apparently there is something very distracting there, enough to make her forget that she was in the middle of speaking, and put her gear into her pocket as if she turned it off. The camera, however, keeps recording, allowing the viewer to see the Missingno in front of them.]
Uh...guys? What is that?
O-OH GOD, A GHOST, WE'RE GOING TO DIIIIIIIE!! COME ON, HARUHI, WE NEED TO RUN. KYOUYA, TELL YOUR GHOST POKEMON TO BEFRIEND IT SO WE CAN ESCAPE!!!!

[Offscreen, Kyouya pulls out his pokédex. The mechanical voice just says one word, "Missingno". As Tamaki is spazzing around, Haruhi watches Kyouya replace his pokédex and pull out a pokéball to call out his Arbok. No one moves for a few moments, except for Tamaki, then the Missigno moves forwards.]
Acid Bomb.
[This causes Haruhi to jump back a little, jostling the gear out of its place in her pocket, and then onto the ground, cutting off the feed.]
