One | text/action for Violet City

Does anyone know why we have to make Pokémon fight against each other? Special powers or not, they're still animals from what I've seen. They're not supposed to be fighting machines. It's wrong for them ( Read more... )

but it's natural order to argue, isn't it? and just because you fight hardly means that you're bad by any means! it's just a way to get things done.

not to mention the stronger you are, the better you get at protecting yourself and the people important to you

That's most likely the case if the Pokémon wants to fight... but what if they wouldn't want to do that? It wouldn't be fair to force them.

Fighting to protect isn't wrong... just making someone do what they don't want is.

i suppose... it's just a matter of knowing how and eventually the pokemon will put it into practice or not? i agree that a trainer should not force their pokemon to fight, but no one wants their pokemon to be unable to defend themselves.

the wild is dangerous, after all.

I think I can understand your point. [It's just hard to see Pokémon fighting, when he's never asked animals to fight for him.]
