One | text/action for Violet City

Does anyone know why we have to make Pokémon fight against each other? Special powers or not, they're still animals from what I've seen. They're not supposed to be fighting machines. It's wrong for them ( Read more... )

I know I don't. I've been made as a breeder, even, so I have even less of a reason to do so... but that doesn't change the fact that some people mnake them fight even if they'd be hesitant over it. Which is just wrong.

People just shouldn't use animals to fight in the first place. [Which is why he has never liked playing Pokémon.]

I... suppose. I mean, I can understand Pokémon fighting in the wild and the wish to protect your partner, really... but then there's the fights with trainers and those Gym leaders. They seem more like something for "fun" than anything important. Do the Pokémon see battling as "fun"?
