[Artemis has decided that he's not suited for training in the rain and so has settled himself down in the Pokémon Centre on one of their chairs and is going over Eirene's updated stats while the newly evolved Furret stays coiled around his neck, either hugging him affectionately or attempting to strangle him. [Savyna doesn't look terribly pleased. She's pacing around restlessly, looking out at the window periodically to check on the status of the weather. Still raining. If it had just been one day, it would have been fine, a rest day. But now that it's well into the second day where it's been cold and raining and she's been doing little, it's starting to get to her. Her items are re-stocked and organized, everything is as in order as it possibly could be.]

[Sen and Kota still haven't stopped fighting, so she's given up on that particular front and put Sen back in her ball for now. She doesn't really want to deal with that right now. Kota, for his part, seems just as bored as his trainer.]

[So he decides to start stalking up to one sleeping Eevee, ready to pounce, while Savyna stares on out the window.]

[Artemis casts a glance in Savyna's direction but has decided not to question the constant pacing of the tall, powerful woman who could turn irritable.

Diana flicks an ear in Kota's direction and half opens an eye to shoot him a warning glance, the fur around her neck bristling slightly and a low sound emitting from her throat.]

[Uh-oh. Kota has been spotted! He realizes he no longer has the element of surprise, so he just goes ahead and jumps on her, intent on starting a fight. He will win. He is sure he will.]

[Diana lets out a noise that seems like a cross between a hiss and a growl, bearing her teeth, arching her back and making her fur stand on end as she tussles with the smaller, less leveled Pokémon. In her mind, she gave him fair warning and will have no issues with coming down on him hard.]

[Savyna jerks her head around at the sudden noise, turning just in time to watch Kota start to get pulzerized by Diana.]

Kota!

[The attempt to call him off didn't seem to work, and she's already stepping towards the two of them. Kota is still pretty much fighting back, even if it's totally ineffective.]

[Artemis looks over but decides then and there he is not attempting to placate the situation in fear of losing his hand or at least receiveing several scratches. He does come over though, with Eirene looking at the fight curiously.

Diana has no inclination to pay attention to Savyna. She also seems to have no thoughts about holding back and so is attempting to make mince meat out of the spider.]

[Savyna looks at them, debating whether to bail her pokemon out or just let him learn something from this. After a few seconds, the decsion is made for her as Kota is effectively knocked out.]

[She shoots a bit of an appologetic look at Artemis. Because that was pretty much all Kota's fault.]

[Diana sits calmly back down and begins to groom herself, she isn't really damaged in anyway but she does feel the need to put her fur back in place, mainly to showcase how uneffected she is.

Artemis shakes his head. Afterall it seems no one but the attacker himself was harmed. Eirene makes a happy noise and uncoils herself from Artemis neck to climb up Savyna's.]

[Her left hand reaches up to offer the Furret a pat on the head while she crouches down to get a better look at Kota. He looks mostly okay, but he's definitely going to have some bruises for the next few days. Just needs time to rest, which they'll have a lot of, if this weather keeps up.]

I hope he learned something from this.

[The Eevee curls up on the blanket again, twitching her tail as the trainers talk.]

Perhaps. Diana was a little rougher with him then Sen usually is. But, then again, he's very... determined.

I'm not sure if it's a good thing or a bad one.

I think he just wants to be stronger.

Both in a way. Being stronger would obviously be benefical, but we won't be able to even defend ourselves from wild Pokemon if he wears out ours by constantly trying to fight them.

Worst-case scenario, I can fight. Obviously, it'd be better if it didn't come to that.

Someone at the Pokemart suggested a spray bottle.

I'm not so sure about that.

A spray bottle? [Raises an eyebrow, pulling a disbelieving look.] Like when training a canine?

[A raised eyebrow at that first remark, but--]

Canine?

[He looks at her. Really? She doesn't know?]

A hound? Mongrel? Mutt? ... Dog?
