A second litter? I can't say I was expecting one. Any other surprises for me?
[Diana the Eevee snorts at him then goes back to making sure the eggs are warm. A young Jolteon and Vaporeon sniff at their new siblings curiously before their mother swats them away.]
Ritsu. Wataru. It seems I have a surplus of Eevee eggs. Would either of you care to take one off my hands? That is, if Diana agrees.
[The grumpy Eevee flicks her ear in agreement as Artemis picks up the largest of the three eggs.]
Curious.
[The egg's colouring matches it's counterparts, who are still being kept warm by mothers fur, aside from the dark spots coating the entire shell.]
I may keep this one. Do any Breeders have information on the colouration of eggs?

Artemis sits by the small body of water in Ecruteak with the speckled egg and a dozing Diana in his lap.
He's sent Apollo to keep an eye on the younger Fowl so he's not too worried about his brother wandering too far and getting into trouble. Floating happily about in the water is Thalassa the Wailmer.
As Artemis strokes the soft fur on Diana's back, he readjusts his sitting position and frowns, feeling something in his back pocket. Reaching around to pull out the offending object, he resist the urge to roll his eyes after discovering it to be some sort of sweet.
"It seems Beckett simply will not listen when it comes to limiting confectionery intake."
Diana opens her eyes and yawns in disinterest before laying her head back down to nap.
"Well, I was going to offer it to you, but if you're going to be so anti-social I'm sure Thalassa wouldn't mind a treat."
He unwraps the rare candy from its covering and tosses it into the whale Pokémon's waiting mouth.
Thalassa makes a happy noise and smiles widely before glowing white.
"Odd. I wasn't aware Thalassa was due an evolution."
Diana lifts her head up, interest piqued as they both watch Thalassa's glowing outline grow bigger... And bigger. And bigger still.
"I do believe this may be a problem."
The outline just keeps expanding, filling up the entire body of water. Diana gives a call and tries to roll her egg to safety. Before Artemis has time to get up and move out of the way, he's knocked over by the massive Pokémon, jostling the video on.
Now everyone in Johto gets this wonderful shot of Artemis' brand new...
