[They say that when you gaze into the abyss, the abyss gazes back into you. The same is apparently true for wayward Arcanines.]

It appears so. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it does look as though it's waiting for something, doesn't it?

[ ... he doesn't like that look. really, it has nothing to do with the arcanine personally, but he's never had a Good End when it comes to large dogs looking at him expectantly. if you put him and a dog in a closed room, only one of them would leave it alive. ]

Well, I'm not an expert of dog behaviour, but... [ a pause. ] It does look fairly expectant.

I'm afraid not. It's just...standing there.

[He frowns.]

And for some reason, I suspect it won't let me in the door of the Center, if I should happen to try.

Mm, I suppose not. But it's not as though you couldn't try, anyway.

That won't be necessary, Fuji-kun.

[His tone is about as icy as the weather. Which is saying something.]

I suppose it might belong to someone inside. But why leave it out here?

[ he chuckles. ] Well, let me know if you change your mind.

I can see why they would, however. Bringing a giant, fire-breathing dog into a building full of delicate and very expensive equipment never really struck me as prudent.

With some of the things that take place in this world, I somewhat doubt that being prudent is really of any particular concern.

Point. But it still could simply be a very conscious-minded owner. There are a few of those existing here and there.

[Uh-oh. Yagyuu's getting that look in his eye. Not that anyone can see it through the two pairs of glasses, of course, but it's there just the same.]

And yet, not conscious enough of the other pedestrians in this city to keep it from being a hazard to passerby. It ought to be moved.
