Yeah, definitely. A couple of them, at least -- like the ones that let you use Surf and Fly outside of battle? Totally helpful.

Oh, yeah... they're uh, regular Pokémon attacks. But if you have the right badges, Surf lets you ride a Pokémon on water outside of battle, and Fly lets you... well, ride on a Pokémon while it flies.

I see. I can see how those would be considerably useful when trying to cross this terrain.

Yeah, definitely. It makes things a hell of a lot faster too, which is pretty cool when things kind of get crazy and you need to be somewhere in a hurry.
