[Even though it's freezing outside in Violet City, Doyle and Shinichi are out in it, because Doyle doesn't like being cooped up inside all day and Shinichi isn't keeping him in his pokeball anyway

[Shinichi tries to keep a good grip on her, but he's being gentle about it. ]
I'll bet. She must be a real handful. [Jo gets a very half-hearted annoyed look. Doyle, meanwhile is temporarily distracted by the little pokemon, sniffing at her curiously.]
[Shinichi looks thoughtfully down at his pokemon again.] Maybe. That has occurred to me...
[He turned back when Jo started climbing onto Kaito's head, but before he can comment on that, he's interrupted when Doyle started to bark. He turned around again.]
What is it, boy? What'd you-? [Hey is that....? He quickly kneels down next to Doyle as the pokemon whines.]
[... meanwhile, Kaito is having a few problems getting his Wooper to calm down]
Damn it, Jo! Will you sto-- [the Wooper eventually hops out of her trainer's grasp and edges toward the Growlithe to peer at whatever it is he found in interest :O
Kaito grumbles, clearly annoyed, before he kneels down to investigate too]

[Kaito doesn't waste any time either. He scoops up Jo quickly and turns toward the Center, trudging through the snow to get there as quickly as he can]
[INCOMING SLIDING WOOPER, SHINICHI, with one magician in pursuit]
J-Jo--!

Eh? [He moves to intercept the hyper little thing as Doyle looks up from where he was digging and barks.]

[and with another woooop, Jo leaps out of Shinichi's arms and at her trainer *A* He catches her with ease]
She's a water-type, so I guess she likes the snow.

[The aforementioned dog pokemon went back to digging. Shinichi was still curious to know what he found so interesting.]
