[OOC: Because my permissions post isn't up yet, there will be no spoilers in this post except in threads with castmates.]

[The woman on the screen doesn't look happy, and there is high pitched wailing in the background. She has to raise her voice to talk over it.]

Okay! These animals that we get in the balls, what do they eat? It's been screaming ( Read more... )

Your backpack should contain a small bag of trail mix. My Pokemon enjoyed a few of the nuts in there quite a bit.

Normally, berries or pellets bought from the store is what they eat however. Some Pokemon graze on grass and plants. A handful of trainers make food themselves for the Pokemon, though I'm unaware of the finer details of such a thing just yet and couldn't give you help there.

I have a few who eat fish and bugs as well. It's mostly dependent upon the Pokemon type, I believe.

Alright, we'll try that for now, because apparently this town doesn't have a single store... [She sighs.] Thanks!

Know anything about this type? [Erica turns her camera at the Togepi.]

You're quite welcome. The next town with a store should only be three days away, so hopefully you'll reach that soon.

That...would be a normal type. The Egg Pokemon, Togepi. They're quite children, from everything I've seen. Not all young or freshly hatched Pokemon are that way, but Togepi seem to be very childish. I'm sure it would enjoy anything you were to give it, provided it doesn't dislike the flavor.

I have a few Pokemon who dislike the more bitter berries, like Rawst, while others hate the sweeter berries like Cheri. Some don't care at all.

[Erica groans.] We're going to have to camp. It's like the... girl scouts all over again. [She sighs.]

[Aaaand she sighs again.] Well, at least I have some kind of care standard... Treat it like a baby. Thank god for babysitting jobs in junior high.

I'll just have to hope it doesn't care, we don't have too many options...

[[That was an odd pause.]]

You certainly don't sound proud of having participated in the girl scouts. And yes, treat it similarly to that of an infant and you should do fine.

Wasn't really my thing. [She shrugs.]

Then this shouldn't be too hard... I'm better with kids than animals.

Well that's understandable I suppose. At least you've a little experience though? And hopefully not then. Many of the freshly hatched or younger Pokemon are similar to children.

If it gives me a leg up, I won't complain.
