They eat like berries and stuff. Also more specialized food you can buy in shops, but there aren't any shops in New Bark if that's where you're at.
They're called Poekees by the way!

But everyone gets a Poekee when they get here, and you can use that to catch more, and battle gyms and people and stuff. It's pretty fun, once you get over the part where you're stuck here and can't get home.

Anyway, there's plenty of food for people, once you get into the other towns. Otherwise you should have some snacks in your bag. But the other towns have marts and and restaurants and stuff. The inns have cooks and all, sometimes really good ones, depending on who's staying there at the time.
Plenty of opportunities for jobs and stuff to, to earn money. If that's your kind of thing...
