Tempest the Lucario is in possession of the 'Gear, but it would seem his trainer didn't ask him to turn it on, for once. He's actually filming out of sheer interest in the happenings.
His trainer is brandishing a whip, facing off against a seething Yanmega. The blade on the end of the whip flashes when she lashes out with it. ]

[ Behind her on the ground, where the camera now focuses for a moment, is a very small Carnivine, curled up in the remnants of a pale green egg. It isn't moving very much, which Tempest notes with a quiet 'Rio....'
After barking a few more ignored commands, Quistis finally gives up and ensnares the bug Pokémon in her whip, throwing it to the ground. She approaches it and returns it to its ball, just in time to spare her boot from its angry mandibles.
The camera returns to the tiny Carnivine as Quistis crouches beside it. ]
It's alive. [ Both she and Tempest seem relieved. She scoops the baby up delicately as Tempest turns the feed off. Show's over, move along. ♥
