[Yes, that is my name, and I'd like to thread it here! :D
Also, don't mind Scott coming out of the center to meet you. He's still a little freaked out over learning some stuff from the 'time-traveler', but he's grinning all the same.]
Come on, I'll take you to the restaurant! [he smiled.]

[ She turns, a little startled by his sudden appearance, and shuts off the 'gear, smiling back. ]

Live human contact is nice. [ She laughs a little as she falls into step with him. ] It's been nothing but snow and Pokémon for far too long.

Yeah... it's pretty barren out there. But it's good for training, and stuff.

King and Aero certainly got their share. I think, once the weather thaws a little, I'll be doing some training on the other side of the city. Are there any Pokémon over there that I didn't see a thousand times on my way here?

Down south, there's Mareep and Ekans and some Wooper as well.

Mareep - they're electric types, aren't they? I need to catch one of those. [ She muses. ] If you had to recommend a Rock-type... ?

As for rock-types, an Onix seems good! I mean, you can ride on them and everything!

[ She lights up a little. ] Giant rock snakes? Someone mentioned them to me before. I'd like one. Where's the nearest cave to Violet?

Well, Dark Cave's a day or two away, but I haven't seen any Onix in there. I think they're down south as well, in that other cave.

Right, I passed it on the way here... stayed a night inside, but I didn't go very far. How far is the other cave from here?

...I dunno. About a week, maybe? But with this snow, it'd take longer.

Oh, I definitely won't be heading down there before the snow clears out a little. I'll be sticking around the city, working at the Pokémon Center.

[Scott has never gotten a job.] But as soon as the snow's clear, I'm gonna be heading that way as well.

Maybe we can head that way together? I don't know if I'll be continuing through, though... [ She considers. ] I'll want to come back and challenge Falkner, but I hear he's not easy, so I probably won't be able to beat him so soon.

It took me months to train up for him, and he still nearly beat me! But if you get a Mareep and an Onix, I bet he'll be heaps easier!
