[ The feed opens, surprisingly steadily, to Quistis, seated on a log just outside of New Bark. It's afternoon; she seems to have found a patch of shade to sit in. She seems calm, but her voice is low and her body tense. ]
This seems to be the primary method of communication here, so I'm reaching out. Can anyone tell me what's going on? I've already gathered that I'm not the only person to whom this has happened, but I have yet to find a satisfactory explanation.
The technology isn't all that strange to me, but this isn't... my world. Well, it isn't my world as I left it, anyway. I woke up here alone, and I haven't found a familiar face yet. I'm also unarmed and unjunctioned.
If anyone has any answers for me, I'd love to hear them.

I'm just not sure if I'd rather this be the evil I know, or some evil I don't.
