I think it's a good thing I'm in town and we weren't that far from a pokemon center. [Ritz doesn't look happy, but she's getting nudged by Brenda a little.] Some of the dog pokemon- Houndour? are pretty strong.

[Ritz is getting headbutted again by her knifebird, and there is a very angry-sounding series of chattering from the armor bird pokemon.

I'm used to doing more, though. It's weird to not be fighting things myself.

Yeah, I've been doing that, too. It's not that different from trying to not get eaten by a monster when you know the Judges won't let you get killed- just knocked out.

Judges. In the last world I was in, they watch over fights- between clans, or between monsters and a clan- and make sure that the people in the fight follow the laws. What's crazy is that what's illegal one day can be favored by the judges the next week or next month, and get you rewards. It was nuts. [Ritz is smiling crookedly and muttering something too low to be caught by the Gear.]
