There's a way to cross all of Johto within two days. I have it, and I can share it. All you'll need to do is earn the Zephyr badge. Which should be simple enough considering you have apparently received an Ice-type.
...Speaking of which, Lily and Zira will be quite happy to see you.

If I can collect Pokemon quickly, I will be able to train them up and be back to what I was.

Every single species I train.
[A beat.]
Except the Cleffa family. This means Shuppets, Caterpies, Growlithes, Feebas, Chikoritas, Ekans, Riolus, Dratinis, Eevees, Magikarps, Lunatones, Swablus, Ralts, Delibirds, Chanseys, Shinx and Heracross, though I might need to borrow Bartz's Gogo for a few of them.
[And nearly all of them come with awesome egg moves. Cecil likes his TMs.]

I would definitely need an Eevee. That was a very useful Pokemon. What do you suggest from that arsenal of yours?
