Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
According to his character info, this guy is 5"11...Holy shit, the kid's tall. Not as tall as Kanji, but jeez, just have him tower over you guys. I always thought he was average height of 5"7 in Japan, but ffffff. Oh, and he's got a pretty good build, lean and fit.
2. How old is he?
He's seventeen! Ah, the days of my youth. Just like the scent of fresh lemons.
3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch?
He probably holds himself pretty high and straight, just like in the games, though he does have a habit of placing one hand in his pocket. The only time that he slouches is when he's sitting in a chair, sitting with his legs wide open and just leaning back into his chair.
4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
This leader is pretty fit for his age. It's kinda of a necessary when travelling around inside the TV since he would have to fight his way through. Not only that, he has to be strong enough to go swinging a sword around and run at all times. He was also on the school basketball team, so that helped. As for his health, he's pretty good. He doesn't get sick very often and he only normally does when he goes ahead and decides to eat some expired food in his fridge. That boy will eat anything found in a fridge...
5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
Gracefully~ He doesn't really stumble around or trip often. He just walks around with that hand in one pocket.
6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror?
I have to admit, Souji is pretty dang attractive. In the game, he is considered good looking by some of the girls, and he sometime gets those really weird stuff in his shoe box that some girls cooked for him. His uncle also does compliment him, saying he looks more handsome in person than in photos. As for his own opinion, he thinks he's pretty okay-looking. He doesn't normally stare at himself in the mirror.
7. Describe his complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
It's light and clear. Nothing much else, really.
8. Describe his hair: color, texture, style.
FILLED WITH SPIIIIIIIIIIIIIDERS It's a nice silver/gray colour and it's a bowl cut, but he pulls it off pretty well. He's the only guy to actually make it look good. It's in good shape too, since he takes showers quite often and cares for it.
9. What color are his eyes?
The same colour as his hair; a pretty silver/gray colour.
10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
Other than his strange hair and eye colour, nothing really stands out. He's pretty normal, asides from that whole million personae business.
11. What are his chief tension centers?
He's only a teenager, so he wouldn't really have any major tension centers, but I would imagine that his shoulders and hands are pretty stiff. Swinging a sword here and there, getting pushed and sometimes kicked out of a mortal blow, being knocked down painfully, and thinking it's a good idea smashing Persona cards with his hand, you would probably suspect that it'll effect him later on. He rolled his shoulders a lot and rubbed his hands during his year stay at Inaba. Nowadays, he's not doing it often, but he does sometimes.
12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does he have six of the same suit?
I guess pretty classy. It can be a bit casual, but man, he sure has a lot of collared shirts in there and when he wears it, his collars are propped up. He has good sense in fashion and it shows with the clothes he wears aside from his Inaba school uniform.
13. Do his clothes fit well? Does he seem comfortable in them?
He fits his clothes pretty well and he can pull them off too. They're really comfortable to wear as well, even if it's a collared shirt.
14. Does he dress the same on the job as he does in his free time? If not, what are the differences?
The only jobs that he has had were mainly the ones that he can do at home or the ones outside home allowed him to wear his casual clothes. Really, when he's in his free time, he will rather go around without wearing his uniform or a suit from teaching.
15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando?
Boxers all the way.
Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
His voice actor is Johnny Young Bosche for the English version and the one that I will be going by.
Here's a video of him calling out all of his Personae so you can get a hold of his voice, but don't go further than a minute into it since there are major spoilers that will ruin the game for you. But yeah, it's pretty deep and a bit surprising at first actually.
2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate?
Really depends on the situation but he talks pretty easily. He's pretty good at thinking and speaking at the same time so he doesn't hesitate a lot. He's not that loud but not soft either, but depends on the situation like I've said. If he's in battle and has to shout out orders, of course he'll be loud. If he's just talking normally to someone, it'll be on the softer side. The only thing he might hesitate is when he's hit with a question he hasn't been expecting or some other awkward situation.
3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
Nah, not any at all. His English might be a little on the obvious tourist alert, but nothing more.
4. What language/s does he speak, and with how much fluency?
Japanese with great fluency as his mother language and English somewhat well. Languages are his strong point, so when he becomes a teacher, it will most likely be what he'll be teaching. That or he'll become a guidance consoler for high school students or something.
5. Does he switch languages or dialects in certain situations?
Nope, unless he comes across an English speaking tourist that makes him force to change. When he's frustrated or annoyed, he'll mutter something under his breath in Japanese when he's outside of Japan.
6. Is he a good impromptu speaker, or does he have to think about his words?
He's very good at speaking and they come natural to him. Like said before, he's good at thinking and speaking at the same time, though situations can change that.
7. Is he eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?
Very eloquent! Of course, the situations that change that may be in situations when he's flustered to hell and beyond, awkward situations, and ones that he has never imagined to be in.
Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart?
According to his
intelligence stats, he's at level four which is professor rank! I always have pictured him being smart but not as smart as Yukiko. While training and spending all that time in the TV , he has had to sacrifice something and that was his academics. Still pretty smart though and managed to do Naoto's S.Link!
2. Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate?
He normally thinks on his feet as the situations call for it. But if he is given time to think about it, he'll take it. He doesn't want to rush into something and suddenly regret it.
3. Describe the character's thought process. Is he more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
Hm, a bit of both! While he doesn't depend on his gut feelings a lot, he does rely on them at times in battle. "WAIT A MINUTE GUYS I HAVE A FEELING IT'S CHARING UP HOLD BACK HOLD BACK" but then again, Rise is normally there to warn them about that. But yeah, logic does take over and he likes to be idealistic, but all those years of being pessimistic, he's really practical. But that doesn't mean he won't cheer people on about their dreams!
4. What kind of education has the character had?
All the way up to his second last year of High school! Just one more year and he's out of there!
5. What are his areas of expertise? What, if anything, is he interested in learning more about?
Languages. He's pretty good in that department. It's normally the highest mark he gets on his exams. Heck, he even has translated things as a part-time job. He can be your walking translator for Japanese to English or vice-versa. Is he going to try and learn more languages? You bet he will, but it'll be really difficult. The most he'll ever get to learning is probably three, so just one more. As much as he likes learning languages, he's sure he'll go insane sooner or later from just sitting at home and repeating the same word over and over. "NEEEEEEEE-HOWWWWWWW-MAAAAAAAAAAAAA"
Anything else he might be interested in learning is some history, but just for the heck of it. Mythology plays a very large role into his interests ever since he has gained the power to summon Personae. Margret has already told him some of the basics that his Personae, but he has actually gone his way to the library and study more about it. Some of them are actually pretty interesting such as Izanagi's background story or even Mara.
Souji is pretty much your walking dictionary/translator/mythology book. Though don't ask him about anything in science. The only thing he knows about it is how to blow up a school by mixing two chemicals. He's really bad in science....
6. Is he an introvert or an extrovert?
Always have been and always will be an introvert. He's not as quiet as he was before Inaba, but he tends to keep his problems a lot to himself. He's always there to lend an open ear and bare it all. Of course...that's one of the main problems with him and a thing that his Shadow will be about.
7. Describe the character's temperament. Is he even-tempered or does he have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven?
Verrrrrrrrry even-tempered. With guys like Teddie and Yosuke, can you not? From Teddie's "SENSEIIIIIIII I AM BEARY SAD BECAUSE NO ONE WILL SCORE WITH ME" and Yosuke's "GOD WHINE WHINE WHINE I'M NOT GAY NOT HOMO WHINE WHINE", you kinda have to have an even temper, especially if these two loud mouths are your best friends. Certain things do push his buttons though such as any harm to his friends which is...mainly his big button. That and Nanako. He'll come at you with a goddamn axe if you lay a finger on her.
8. How does he respond to new people or situations? Is he suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
At first, he acts very kind to them but gives no attempts to connect. He's not very suspicious, but rather more relaxed. He just smiles and gives them a handshake. He hasn't really tried to greet others unless they come to him first, but after Inaba, that all has changed. He's actually starting to greet others first and do more than say hello then leave. He's still not all in your face and scream hello, but it's a lot better than he has normally said nothing during a conversation.
9. Is he more likely to act, or to react?
Act. He has no time to react unless he wants to get knocked aside by a Shadow. You have to get the first move in before the enemy takes notice.
10. Which is his default: fight or flight?
Fight all the way. The only time he'll ever run is when he knows that situation isn't looking good and they have to retreat. He hasn't been appointed leader just to get his team killed. If they have to run and risk looking like cowards, better than losing their lives.
11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does he appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks?
Who doesn't appreciate jokes? While he doesn't have much a sense of humor, leaving that mainly to Yosuke, he'll love to hear a good joke. No Teddie, yours aren't all that good. Pranks, he's not so good up on that. Actually, he'll frown at that stuff. Yosuke, get the hell away from Kanji's book bag. WHERE DID YOU EVEN GET A GAY PORN MAGAZINE ANYWAY.
12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does he deal with them?
If you count the whole I-got-a-million-and-one-Personae, yeah. That has to mean something if a Persona is another self of you. What does it mean if he can switch his by will? Not all that great...But other than that, he's pretty good!
13. What moments in this character's life have defined him as a person?
ALL HIS TRIP TO INABA. There, he has learned to open up, finally put those good leadership and big brother traits, reach out, and make some friends. He doesn't have a Shadow, so he never has addressed his issues properly, but one he will. He already has helped everyone else's, so how hard can it be? SPOILERS: very hard.
14. What does he fear?
Loss of his friends. That has been actually his biggest reason why he hasn't tried to make any in the past. Just who tries to keep in contact with a pal that only has stayed for about a year and pretty much in some other city far away? It can be too much of a hassle and he didn't want to go through the pain of losing them. So he distanced himself. But yeah, now that he has made some lifetime ones, he doesn't want to lose or disappoint them. Being a disappointment is one of his biggest fears as well since he's leader, senpai, sensei, partner. He's the one person everyone depends on. He can't let them down and he fears that he just might. Then there's that small fear of anything happening to his friends and of ever meeting his own Shadow. There's also fear on what having multiple Personae might mean and if he really is putting on a mask.
Souji may look perfect but really, he's not and there's a lot of things he fears. Not much physical things like spiders or heights, but more of a psychological one in his mind.
15. What are his hopes or aspirations?
To help everyone else reach theirs and become a teacher. Like he has done for his Social Links and help them find their way or realize themselves, that's what he wants to do.
16. What is something he doesn't want anyone to find out about him?
All of those fears he has and maybe possibly how he was before Inaba. Compare to him a few years ago to him now, it's actually pretty different.
Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with his parents.
He doesn't see his parents a lot so he's not that close with them. However, when he is with them, they're on good terms. They talk about school, his friends, all that. He may not be rubbing elbows with them, but he isn't the one to hate his parents.
2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like?
He's a single child but his cousin is pretty much his younger sister. He's the center of Nanako's world as she is to him. He adores her greatly and has always looked forward to coming home to a big "Welcome home, Big Bro!" Like how some big brothers might do, he has helped her with chores, homework, played magic tricks, and all that. They're as close as two siblings can be and more?!
3. Are there other blood relatives to whom he is close? Are there ones he can't stand?
Souji's also pretty close with his uncle, Ryotaro Dojima! Like how Souji has this sibling relationship with Nanako, he has that father-son relationship with Dojima-- errrr, Dojima being the father, not the other way around. In completing the Hierophant social link, he has helped his uncle get back into a much closer relationship with Nanako and help him go through the loss of his wife. SOCIAL LINK GOOOOOOOOO
4. Are there other, unrelated people whom he considers part of his family? What are his relationships with them?
Pretty much the whole Investigation Team, or at the very least, close friends. Here, let's put out a table of who's who.
Souji - Hard working father that eats anything in the fridge including grass and alarm clocks
Yosuke - Very loud whining elder son with a homo-issue and likes throwing wrenches around which leads to many holes in the floor
Chie - Crazy kung-fu girl that lives next door and likes to break their door down to enter with a loud "WHOOYA"
Yukiko - Very kind roommate of crazy kung-fu girl but has a very bad habit of laughing at ridiculous hours in the morning
Kanji - This guy that keeps coming over to fix any electronics in the Seta house and likes to bring a million cats with him
Rise - That one weird stalker girl that keeps climbing through Souji's window and watches him sleep silently as she sparkles in the sun
Teddie - Very loud annoying younger son with an scoring-issue and likes making passes at the girls next door only to fail
Naoto - The only responsible person around leaving her to play babysitter but is a really bad one because she's too busy falling head over heels for Kanji
It's like a bad episode of some family show!
5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet?
HE'S EVERYONE'S BEST FRIEND. HOHOHOHO-- I mean, well, I guess Yosuke. The first time Souji ever saw Yosuke was him getting kicked in the nads and instead of comforting him of broken balls, he just...kinda left. Oops. Bad first impression. Then the next time where they actually spoke to each other was when Yosuke got stuck in a garbage can. Yeeeeeeeeeah, not the ideal story on how to meet your bff. But there you go, now they're partners and all that jazz. Still trying hard not to gay it up, though it's really not working...
6. Does he have other close friends?
The Investigation Team! C'mon here, Souji's going to give each one of you a goddamn bear hug-- er, cat hug. Bears are for Teddie.
7. Does he make friends easily, or does he have trouble getting along with people?
He makes them pretty easily but he didn't know that until he went to Inaba. The whole point of the third and fourth Persona games are to go and make friends BUT ONLY RAISE YOUR RANK IN THEM TO SUMMON COOL PERSONAE THEN IGNORE THEM WHEN YOU'RE DONE...he still makes good friends though!
8. Which does he consider more important: family or friends?
His friends. Sorry mom and pop, you're cool and all but can you summon Personae and play King's game with me? No? Well, GOOD BYE
9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has he been married more than once?
SINGLE~ C'mon ladies, come to Senpai~ You too, Yosuke if you want...
10. Is he currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse?
SINGLE WHAT PART OF SINGLE DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND
11. Who was his first crush? Who is his latest?
Probably some girl in elementary school before he went all pessimistic about moving and everything. Y'know, that one tomboy girl that loves rolling around in the dirt with him and likes to always exchange her snacks with Souji. Then he moved away and awwwww, there goes his crush! Hm, after that, no one else really. Who's his crush now? Who knows what's going on in that head of his?
12. What does he look for in a romantic partner?
...Didn't Teddie and Yosuke ask this question before? TIME TO COPY PASTE;
"I guess someone who can stick by my side and be there. Someone I can share a good laugh with and count on. Looks don't really matter. Just someone to back me up and I guess if we click, we click. There's not really a set type for me. "
There you go, from the big man himself.
13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does he relate to them? If no, does he want any?
PFFFFFFFFFFFFT-- He's seventeen, dude. How many children do you think he has, much less grandchildren? Well, sure, he'll like to have them one day. He can teach them the wonders of eating random crap out of the fridge.
14. Does he have any rivals or enemies?
Naaaaaaaaaaaaah. No one really since his mission inside the TV is done and all. As a Persona protagonist though...THOSE DANG MINATOS AND MINAKOS. SOUJI'S THE BEST PROTAG GET OUT OF MY TV
15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does he fall on the
Kinsey scale?
Hooo boy, what to say on this one... Well, really, Souji likes to keep all of his opinions open, so while he's leaning a bit more to a two, he's really a spot on three. I mean, love's a gamble no mater what the gender, right? Right.
16. How does he feel about sex? How important is it to him?
Eh, it's sex. He doesn't need it to be in a relationship with someone. Sure, why not if you want to, but whatever. He rather enjoys the innocent stuff like holding hands and cuddling and manly hugs and stuff like that...though he'll probably want to have it at least once.
17. What are his turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits?
HAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Oh meme, you're so funny. You make me laugh every time. Hoo, hoooooo, man, you're a killer. /wipes single tear
Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (
zodiac of
choice) sign? How well does he fit type?
Souji does not have a canon set birthday, but I like to go with March 20th! Aka...the final boss battle...yeaaaah. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY SOUJI LET'S GO BATTLE THE FINAL BOSS AS YOUR PRESENT" "...wh--" There is a reason why I've chosen 3/20 though and it's not because of the final boss. Heck, I haven't even know that until I've decided to go look at the P4 calender and went "oh shi--". The reason why is that because 3/20 is normally the first day of Spring! Spring is like a new beginning where life regrows and where everything starts anew. Like Souji's life, it's exactly that when he arrives in Inaba; a new beginning. He sheds away from his distant self to become the loving leader he is known as now.
So, that makes him a Aries~ Neat enough, it's the first astrological sign! Like the tarot cards where he is the Fool being number 0, he's first and also the leader. People born under the Aries are known for being task-orientated and masculine. They are also extrovert, which Souji isn't really, but he's still positive. I say he fits the Aries pretty well, asides from the whole element being fire. He's much more of a Zio type, but though he has to admit, Agi has been his second most used spells.
For the Chinese zodiac, he falls under the year 1994 which is the year of the dog. Dogs are "honest, intelligent, straightforward, loyal, sense of justice and fair play, attractive, amicable, unpretentious, sociable, open-minded, idealistic, moralistic, practical, affectionate, sensitive, easy going. Can be cynical, lazy, cold, judgmental, pessimistic, worrier, stubborn, quarrelsome." That's that in a nutshell! He fits the positive side quite well asides from a few little parts such as being sensitive, but you get the idea. The negative parts do not fit him at all. Perhaps on being stubborn, previously being a pessimistic and still is a bit, and a worrier. He's not lazy, cold, judgmental, quarrelsome, cynical, or lazy at all. Well, he can be lazy at sometimes but who isn't?
For the Dog's element, he falls under the Wood Dog. This is also pretty interesting since it can mean new beginning! Hey, see how this is all tying in with his birthday? The beginning of Spring and Aries, the first one? The Wood Dog is also a symbol of Spring and can be known to be very patient which Souji is. There is a negative side of being angry, but for Souji, it's rather hard to draw that anger from him. But once you do, you'll probably regret it.
But yeah, in a nutshell, his zodiacs and his birthday all tie into the fact that it's a new beginning. I guess you can say by battling the final boss on his birthday, he has finally put an end to his journey and allowing everything to start anew in the town of Inaba,
2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in his life?
He's a bit more of a neither. Sure. he has done all that praying at the shrines as a kid, but it has never really played a big part in his life. He still prays at the shrine when there's a festival and stuff, but nothing else.
3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it?
While growing up, he has probably made a personal code of morals, mainly from being a complete loner. The main one has been "be kind to everyone, but make no connections to them." He has always been the one to treat others with respect and kindness but in making no friends at all, it spares both himself and the other person the pain of losing a pal. Of course, that whole "make no connections to them" has changed since his arrival in Inaba, but his "be kind to everyone" still stands. He disapproves of killing someone for revenge or as punishment. He does believe that a certain amount of action should be taken against a criminal, but the death penalty is not the way to go, especially when you don't have all the details to go with. You can throw someone in jail for a lifetime then realize they're not the criminal. You can let that person out and give them as much as their old life used to be, but when you kill someone and realize your mistake too late, you'll regret forever.
4. How does he regard beliefs that differ from his? Is he tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent?
He's tolerant. After all, he cannot change what another person believes, although he may be a bit annoyed such as when the whole incident where Yosuke has wanted to take his revenge on the "murderer" on November. As long as the other person's beliefs don't come to harm anyone else, Souji's good with it.
5. What prejudices does he hold? Are they irrational or does he have a good reason for them?
He doesn't hold any, to be honest. He'll like to give everyone the same amount of chance to start anew, though he can look a bit down on criminals, especially the murderer, but that doesn't mean he won't give them a chance. He just not forgive them of their previous acts.
Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is he rich, poor, comfortable, in debt?
He's comfortable! He's still under his parents' care, so they handle all of his major needs. However, Souji does do part-time jobs and can earn quite a stack of money for a student his age. From tutoring to the day care center to being a janitor, he probably makes more than an average high school student. Most of the money actually has gone to supplies, weapons, and the fox in the team's time in the TV. The little money that he has left for himself is to buy food.
2. What is his social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected him?
At school, surprisingly, he's a bit popular. Nothing too big like Yukiko or Yukari in P3, but a bit popular nevertheless. This is the same as his previous schools. Possibly because back then, it has been that whole "he's so kind, but he hides away kyaaaaa" thing that girls back then liked or something. Perhaps his looks too? But since Inaba, it's because he's nice and makes friends with people. He lends an open ear at all times and that's something a lot of high school students like to rant away. It hasn't really changed nor has it ever effected him. It's just a normal day.
3. Where does he live? House, apartment, trailer? Is his home his castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does he share it with others?
He's always moving from one place to another, so it depends. In Inaba, it was a house, but in the city, probably an apartment buildings. It's in pretty neat condition as he's a bit of a neat freak. His room is almost always tidy, asides from perhaps the one or two shirts on the ground.
4. Besides the basic necessities, what does he spend his money on?
Most of the time in Inaba, SUPPLIES. As leader of the Investigation Team, he made sure that his team was ready for anything so that means the best weapons, the best medicine, all that. With the little money he saves for himself, it's just things like...food really. Oh! He does like fishing a bit as well, so he does buy some bait now and then. He'll just take a backpack filed with bait and some food for himself, sit by the stream and just fish for the rest of the afternoon. It's quite relaxing and sometimes he catches a few for dinner with the Dojimas!
5. What does he do for a living? Is he good at it? Does he enjoy it, or would he rather be doing something else?
He's too young to really hold down a job as a living, but he's aspiring to become a high school teacher. He isn't going to be like King Moron, but rather like how he has been with his friends; encouraging and helpful. He has been a tutor before, so he'll be good with the job! He'll probably go into teaching English since he's good at translating as seen in one of his part-time jobs. However, he might not be a High School teacher but perhaps an elementary school one? It shows that he's very good with children so that will help. Either way, whatever age group that he does get, what he'll do as a living is a teacher and he'll love every minute of it.
6. What are his interests or hobbies? How does he spend his free time?
Lots of things! Hanging out with friends, reading up mythology, fishing, all that! He loves spending his time with friends and Nanako, so most of his days are like that. When he's actually alone, he'll like to sit down with a good book to read. He actually secretly admits he kinda enjoys Magical Witch Detective. It's...kinda interesting, but he's not going to tell anyone. He also likes building those gundams in his free time! It takes a lot of hard work and sweat, but he loves the feeling of seeing it all done and feeling accomplished. He puts them proudly on his shelf!
Souji's not much into video games. Sure, he loves playing them, but he doesn't spend his money on it or anything. If Yosuke brings over his games, he'll play them, or if he's invited to the arcade, sure. But he doesn't really own any.
7. What are his eating habits? Does he skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods?
Oh boy, eating habits. Well, he eats his meals on time and he isn't very picky! He eats a lot at home and he cooks for himself, but he eats out now and then. However, he has this really bad habit of just eating anything he finds in the fridge, no matter how expired it is or bizarre. No one really knows why he does this and to be honest, he doesn't quite know himself. It's all from curiosity. He wants to know what it tastes like and he kinda wants to say he has tried it. That's his biggest eating problem and it does get him sick more than half the time. It's a miracle he isn't dead or anything.

2. Smell? Something like...the shampoo he uses? He uses something like lemon or the smell of Spring. IDK
3. Time of day? Afternoon! He's not all that awake in the morning.
4. Season? Spring! Why? Go read that giant thing about his zodiac and his birthday.
