[ The video feed starts up at a very horrible angle, almost as if the gear has been tossed to the side carelessly. In fact, that's exactly what that is what has happened and that this entry is not an ordinary one; it's an accidental one.

[The first round of attacks had practically thrown Merlin to the floor in his room. Though still slightly dazed, he's certainly lucid enough to hear Souji's voice crying out warnings.

As if realising Merlin's state, Balinor--at Nineve's frantic cries--releases himself from the pokeball. The Dragonair, with the help of the Leafeon, manages to slide the trainer onto his back and slither out of the breeding cetnre, to safety.]

[ Souji lets out a held breath into a sigh of relief, seeing how Merlin has escaped from the breeding centre. He rushes over and checks if he is at least alive. ]

Merlin--! [ C'mon, wake up. Wake up. ]

[tiercelet]

...Souji? [Merlin slips off Balinor's back, onto the ground. Then he pushes himself up with a groan.]

Ow. What...what happened? [He looks between Souji and the burning centre with incomprehension.]

[ Souji opens his mouth to answer but instead begins to cough. After a few seconds of hacking away into his sleeve, he replies; ]

The Gyarados suddenly attack ed the centre. [ But more importantly-- ] Are you hurt?

[Okay, that cough? It's a little worrying. Merlin makes a soft sound and tries to move toward Souji, then winces as a few things in his body protest the action.]

Probably a few scrapes, nothing too bad. [Then he sits up, the fog in his brain finally clearing.] The centre! [He gasps]

[ Souji looks at the centre then back at Merlin. ]

Go over to the Pokemon Centre for now, Merlin. We can handle this. [ And by "we", he means "my Pokemon and I". ]

[tiercelet]

No way! [He scrambles up at that, ignoring all of the twinges that sets off.]

I'm not leaving you and the others to take care of this alone.

You were knocked out until then. You need some rest right now.

[tiercelet]

No. [He staggers to his feet, but manages to stay upright. Then, he surveys the scene with dismay.]You said the Gyrados attacked the Centre?

Why--why would they do that?

[ Souji stand nearby, ready if Merlin is about to fall or anything. ]

I don't know. None of the other water Pokemon are listening either. [ Now this is such a glare that is saying "get to the Pokemon Centre now, Merlin." ]

[tiercelet]

None of them? [Even in his current state, Merlin knows how unusual that is. He nods at Balinor and recalls his Leafeon before sending out Ambrosius in her stead.]

All right, I can work with that. Balinor, use Aqua Tail on the fires. [Merlin glances over at Souji.] Have you tried recalling them? Putting the fires out won't do any good if the Gyrados are just going to attack again.

[ At this, the Gyarados get into a fury and attempt to attack the Dragonair by waving their tails everywhere. ]

[ Souji tenses when watching that and doesn't take his eyes off it. ] Tired all of that already. They won't stay in their balls no matter what.

[tiercelet]

[He glances between the Dragonair and the two furious water pokemon, then makes a split second decision.]

Let me try something. Cius, get me closer to them, would you? [The Lucario hesitates, then grabs his trainer and leaps closer into the fray.]

Stop!! [Merlin calls out to the Gyrados in the Dragontongue, hoping this might calm them down at least.] Stop attacking the Centre!

Merlin, get back--!!

[ Souji yells after, about to chase after him but then... what is that language Merlin is speaking and why is the two Gyaradoses staring down at him without attacking. They still seem pretty angry enough to start back on their havoc, but right now, they just look extremely pissed off. ]

[Seeing the two Gyrados pause gives Merlin some hope that this might work after all. He tries again.] You need to stop! Let your trainers return you to your pokeballs!

[Merlin tightens his grip on Cius in case they need to dodge.]

[ The two seem to almost seem like they might go with it but then they hear another full wave of that annoying radio frequency and they begin to use Trash. They just flail around the ground, swinging their tails around and not caring who or what they hit. ]
