[Freddie is still filled to the very brim with questions. He's still getting used to the technology, but has figured out the basics after endlessly clicking the PokéGear. Inside of a comfortable spare room in Cherrygrove, of course. Freddie doesn't exactly feel like starting the trek to that another city, dear god, right now. What's the rush?

There's nothing much than doing the jobs here. You can always try selling or doing performances to get some money.

If I could do performances, I would, but I doubt the idiots who brought me here would be interested in letting me play chess. I haven't even seen a chessboard or anything.

You can buy a chessboard in the bigger cities like Goldenrod as far as I've seen. Maybe set up a chess match and winner gets some cash?

I think you can get things delivered from there. I can always ask a friend of mine to send one for you and if we're ever in the same place, I'll take you up on a chess match.
