damn, dudes, want to know what totally sucks?  i just crashed my car on the way to walla walla.  it was like the stupidest car crash in the history of time, too.  i wanted to take off my jacket, so i asked the passenger seat person if they'd hold the wheel, which they did, but then, while i was taking off said jacket, for some reason that remains unclear, we swerved to the right and off the side of the road, knocking over something like 12 fenceposts before i regained control.  anyway, everyone was fine, but my car is a sad sight to behold.  it's currently chilling in the dalles, where it will probably be pronounced totaled on arrival tomorrow or whenever the repair shop guys get into work.

the lesson of the story: jackets kill.
