(no subject)
well, looks like i'm shit out of luck in terms of getting my music collection back. hella lame. apparently the process of getting 160 gigs worth of data off a busted hard drive ain't gonna run you any less than $800, no matter how you slice it. drag city. but, no use crying over spilled gigabytes. just gotta get a new hard drive (it's still under warranty, thankfully) and start from scratch.
on the plus side, "american gangster" was soooooo good. it featured denzel washington being a complete and total badass, no less than three rappers as actors (common, t.i. and the rza), and was pretty much just awesome in all respects. ooh, plus there was a preview for "sweeny todd", as directed by tim burton and starring johnny depp. i might just be behind the times in the upcoming movie world (which is highly likely, since i tend to fall completely out of the movie loop when i go to walla walla), but i had no idea this was happening! i can't frikkin wait.
