mmm...damn, i hadn't been to a concert in soooo long.  and damn, hot chip was fucking awesome.  like most bands or songs i think are merely good on record, they usually become totally sweet when heard live.  the new stuff sounded really good, too.  and holy fucking shit did they tear the roof off the place when they played "over & over

I was literally five minutes away from leaving for the Wonder Ballroom when I got a shitty phone call that pulled me out of the concert-going mood, for once, and I ended up crying into my beer at a lezzie bar instead.
