All I'm going to say about the warnings thing in fandom is that a disturbing number of commenters who are vilifying the people who have come out against pressured warnings (and almost everyone who is naming names on trigger_fence) are anonymous. And that's fine, I guess. It's their choice to comment anonymously. But I have a problem with people who go on the attack anonymously, so it surely doesn't strengthen their position. After reading anonymous comments on other journals here and at dreamwidth this morning, I am actually less sympathetic to the pro-warning argument than I was previously and I'm sure that wasn't their intent.
