Hiya! You're a friend of Light? I met her briefly a few days ago, she's on her way to Goldenrod City I think. Which is a ways a ways a ways from New Bark. I think there's a Hope too, but I don't really know him.
I'm Yuffie by the way! [She waves] I hate to break it to ya, but you'll probly be stuck here for a while. I've been here a couple of weeks myself, and I guess others have been here for MONTHS! And some people disappear and come back! It's kind of crazy. But cool too!
What kind of Poekee do you have?
[Oh dear. Yuffie is probably not who you want to meet right off the bat, because she can't even learn the word "Pokémon.]

Stuck... in New Bark Town, you mean? An' why's that?
[At the mention of the creature, she glances at the Meowth.] What, d'ya mean this thing? [She moves the camera so the Meowth, sitting delicately on the ground, is in full view. It gives a noise in greeting:] Meowf. [Fang then talks, the camera swinging back to her.] Heck if I know. It ain't mine, though. Maybe it's a stray o' something. [In which case, she wouldn't particularly mind taking it. It's kind of cute.]

You're not stuck in New Bark. You can leave through Route 29. But you're stuck in this world of Poekees. Which is that cat thing you have. A poekee. It probably is yours too. [She looks up remembering when she first encountered Sneezy] I didn't know what to think of mine, but they're kinda cool. And you should have a red and white ball thing you can put it away in!

Maybe there's a warmer change of clothes in your bag? All I got was some dumb dress, but maybe you'll have better luck! There's also a sleeping bag!

Hm. Warmer than what I have on, at least.
[She isn't aware that it's a male's set of clothing. Then again, it's not really obvious from the outset.]
