[The feed comes on, and-- ah? There's that strange tree, rooted into the ground innocently and inconspicuously. And-- hey, there's Fang. She seems to be putting some weight on... She's going to flash a grin at the camera before letting out her Meowth, Claw.]
So this... not-tree bested me before, but... [A smirk. A knowing, something-up-her-sleeves smirk.] We got a little surprise for it, this time.
[She lifts a hand, and points at the tree.] Show it, Claw.
[The Meowth braces herself on the ground, her fused charms on her head glowing white. Then, with a yowl, water bursts forth in a magnificent ring and crashes into the tree, causing it to suddenly erupt from the ground with a cry. Fang grins.]
Water Pulse hurts a little more than a water bottle, don't it? Guess you shoulda considered that the first time.
[The Sudowoodo grunts, already pissed off. It begins to chuck rocks at the normal-type, who dodges easily. Fang's been training.]
Have at 'im again, Claw!
[And another Water Pulse is launched at the Sudowoodo. This time, it becomes confused. It's a one-sided battle, now, and that's clear by the grin on Fang's face.]
Now, go under!
[The Meowth claws rapidly at the ground, eventually tunneling under. The ground breaks up above where she travels, stopping at the Sudowoodo, which is stumbling around in confusion.
And then the ground bursts underneath it. The pokémon cries out, teetering, then falls to the ground with a solid thud. Claw lands in between it and her trainer swiftly.
And then she glows, and changes...
Fang watches, quietly commenting afterward] So that's what an evolution looks like, eh...
[The newly evolved Claw stretches, turns and pads over to Fang. And Fang sees what the previously awkward charms had turned into.]
...You are the fruitiest thing, you know that?
Rweor? [A confused noise and look from the Persian; she hadn't seen the change herself, obviously. But then, Fang shakes her head.]
Nevermind... [She looks up at the Sudowoodo that's struggling to get up. And she grabs a pokéball.] Well, looks like.. you lost. [And she throws the ball--
--to have it deflected--
--by another Sudowoodo. Because that one that's on the ground in pain?]
[It has friends.
After a brief look of surprise comes over Fang, she grunts, narrowing her eyes at the approaching Sudowoodo army.]
Tch!...
[Her chances of beating this army? Not good. Her chances of even standing up to them? Not that great, either. She knows that. But Fang doesn't like to run. Fang never likes to run from a challenge. Except in this challenge, she's horribly outnumbered, with pokémon that are just up to an appropriate level to battle one, and... still without her fucking spear.
--oh, and they're lifting rocks.]
Shi--
[The recording cuts off abruptly.]
