[On a usual day in Goldenrod, when the Pokémon are resting, the Other Father can be seen in the music store, usually playing on the piano. The store managers don't seem to mind, considering he always plays uplifting songs that tend to make people happy and bring them in.

He had been taking a break, but upon hearing Nanao's playing, he had to compliment.]

That's one fii~ne melody you've got there.

{She'd seen him when she came in, but wrote him off as harmless pretty much straight away, and so she smiles at the compliment.}

In that case, you're a natural. [He can't say this from experience of course, considering he was made to be a musical genius... but he knows talent when he sees it.

He walks closer to the piano and presses two or three keys nonchalantly, making a pleasant sound.]

[He can't help but grin. It's not a challenge, but he won't turn it down if it's just for fun. This is the first time that the Other Father's been around another pianist... Or at least, a pianist with a piano.]

I learnt for my daughter. [He says that is if it's a normal thing to do.]

I... don't know how to play with someone else. {Shy smile!} But if you're willing to teach me, I'll give it a go!

Just improvise. If it sounds good, go with it. If you want, I can do the improvising? [He figures that that way, she can start playing with a tune that she knows, so she won't feel so out of place.]

[The Other Father adjusts his glasses, places his hands on the keys and then he begins to play;fast and majestically.

{She cocks her head to the side - it's vaguely familiar to her, and so she sets her fingers to the keys and adds her own dancing melody to his, swaying gently.}

{It fitted somehow, but good musicians always did find a way to make it work.}

[He makes a little o-hoo~ sound excitedly, his head turning to towards Ise as he continues to play with ease. He'd slipped in a chance for her to improivise there. Everyone can shine if you let them take the spotlight- and the spotlight has never been a place that the Other Father really cares for for himself. Others always come first.]
