Said song is unhelpful to Nino's mental health, but more on that later. Said song also happens to describe Nino's relationship limbo for the moment, though he's not ready to write about that in detail just yet. Let Nino figure out the whole thing and resolve it first, and then he'll be better prepared and better equipped to put it to words. And I should REALLY stop referring to myself in the third person, cause it's my experience that it gets annoying in about 3.5 sentences when others do it, and I've already hit the threshold. Lol.
The answer to last time's trivia is Cape Town, which also happens to be home to one of the most picturesque test cricket grounds (Newlands) in the world. It's also a place where India have never won an international match of any kind outside the world cup. They'll have a chance to rectify that in the upcoming tour, but it's a damned tall order and it's unlikely that any positive result would come out of the entire tour. I'd take a 2-0 test beating and 3-2 or 4-1 ODI loss. The Team's fucked over right now, anyway. At least it'll open their eyes. ANYWHO...Josh got it right and earns a point (finally!).
Trivia: "The Persistance of Memory," the famous painting with the melting clocks, is a work of what Spanish/Catalan artist?
One Year Ago: The nearest corresponding entry is Nov.6, where I took an interesting survey. I miss these survey things every once in a while. Anyone know a good place to find some good ones?
For the benefit of Tanaya, the lyrics to said song from Nickelback. Feels surreal typing this shit out - again, not good for mental health, but it will have to do for now.
How the hell did we wind up like this?
Why weren’t we able?
To see the signs that we missed
try to turn the tables
I wish you would unclench your fists,
And unpack your suitcase
lately theres been to much of this
but don’t think its too late
nothings wrong, just as long
as you know that someday I will
someday, some how
gonna make it alright, but not right now
I know you’re wondering when
you’re the only one that knows that
someday, some how
gonna make it alright, but not right now
I know you’re wondering when
well I’d hope that since we’re here anyway
we can end up saying
things that we always needed to say
so we can end up staying
now the stories played out like this
just like a paperback novel
lets re-write an ending that fits
instead of a hollywood horror
you’re the only one that knows that

So, I had my oral and practical on the sixth and eighth. Both went reasonably well, the practical more so than the oral, but more importantly, both were far better than the EL debacle earlier. I'll come out nicely from both, methinks, with scores of about 33-40+ (outta 50) from both, which is decent and more than decent, respectively. Just hope that the internal covers me for the EL pract. I really REALLY don't want/need to go through the shit again, dig? Acourse, this marks the most boring part of the year for me, the dreaded prep leave. I hate this time period. For clear reasons of this statement, refer to earlier entries from May/June, or November 2005. My uncle is visiting me from Louisville, and with him, I shall have Starter T-shirts, and waffles. Yay for that. Anything to break the routine, you know. Speaking of waffles, the Irish-Coffee-Syrup variety at the Pyramid Mall is pretty damned good. Now if only the place wasn't so far away from me and I wasn't so lazy, I'd probably wind up going there every other day. Perhaps it's better that the place isn't near me, anyway.
That is that for now, loyal subjects. (Sorry, morphed into King Booker mode, who defied all odds and Mike to become Champion of Champions). Speaking of wrestling, I happened to catch TNA's No Surrender the other day, and I noticed the following things: 1. Jeff Jarrett actually makes a better all-conquering heel than HHH, cause he seems far more human. 2. Raven looks CREEPY TO THE MAX when he blades, particularly in this case, where only half his face was covered in blood and the other half squeeky-clean. 3. You put Homicide and AJ Styles in the same ring, and you've got me hooked for as long as you like. 4. The match between Low Ki (err...Senshi) and Sabin was PIYUMP~. Sabin's chest was FUCKED UP after the match, too, from all the chops and the Ghetto Stomp. Anyway...I've diverted from the ending long enough. Keep it cool.
