You're such wonder that I think I'll stay in bed

Gah. Lots. Going on. Want slow down. Need be graduated already. Deserve diploma. And a job thing. And general happiness.

Yeah, came home before the trip out to LA and clearly needed to unwind, as I got so drunk on wine that my mother had to put me to bed giggling like a mad thing. That's... never happened before. Ever. I laughed myself to sleep ( Read more... )

Thanks! Apparently we're both hopping up and down for the change, since we're trying to figure out how soon we can get out there, rather than later. XD

Wow. Those pictures are gorgeous. I don't know how I missed getting to Ireland and Scotland while I was abroad (you'd figure if I made it to Turkey, those other two would be easy...), but Ireland has always been high on my list of Places I Must Go. NOW. I'm glad you got to do so much over there. ^_^

I think it wouldn't be Torchwood if you didn't have at least one "bzuh?" moment per episode. XD But really. I'm kind of amazed at how much I love everyone this season. Dying was the best thing that could have happened to Owen, for sure. Also, no spoilers, but the last two episodes have confirmed beyond a doubt that Tosh and Ianto rock and should be cuddled at every available moment. And I'm getting kind of proud of Jack. Which is crazy, but gratifying. (Also, Kelsey and I were killing time in the airport, and came up with an idea for a Torchwood/Men In Black crossover that I think must be written. >.<)

I just finished watching "Something Borrowed", in which Tosh is made of more win than I can properly handle. XD God, I love her.

(I'm pretty sure I sent you "Ten things to do in Torchwood when you're dead", right? And now that you're caught up, you must read " Trying To Communicate". Now. And that Torchwood/MiB crossover is such a natural that it must happen.)

Oh, and just to give you an idea of how much fandom has warped my mind: first, I almost dissolved in giggles when, at Coole Park, I learned that the lake there is a geological formation properly called a turlough. And to make matters worse, we later drove through a town called Turlough. I am so, so sad that I never got a chance to take a picture of the sign leading into town.

Yes, and for once Owen wasn't a complete tosser around her. Which she deserved. For being awesome. Really, that whole episode was pretty much made of win. Also, I would like Ianto to shop for my wedding dress whenever I might have need of one. In fact, he can just do all of my shopping. Clearly he's got the magical eye, whether he wants it or not. XD

(OMG. That was the BEST THING EVAR. And what's better, it's so obvious in a way. You kind of wonder how it hasn't been done before. On the show. Oh, and the crossover kind of writes itself, we've realized. MiB dealt with UNIT in earlier years. Zed and the Brigadier? HATE each other. XD)

HAHA. What's funnier, you ask: Kelsey just got her first iPod the other day (she has finally joined the happy land of Friendlier Technology), and she had to name it. For some reason, which I still don't quite understand, I decided last summer to name my current iPod Harkness. Because it sounded cool, or something. So Kelsey's going through Whovian names for her brand new baby, and I go, "you should call it Turlough." And she cracked up and did. So it seems his name is out there in the universe at the moment. O_o Also, we both have iPod's named after Doctor Boy Whores. XD

And now we just watched the episode about the travelling circus. Definitely not one of Torchwood's better moments (the show or the team), but Ianto was, as always, a doll. Husband was slightly bewildered when at one point I yelled out, "Ianto the Ninja Teaboy"-and then I realised that I could not possibly explain that I'd gotten that phrase from a Torchwood mpreg fic. >_>

(Ahaha. That's brilliant, Zed and the Brig. Awesome. And incidentally, as a consequence "Trying to Communicate", I can't watch Torchwood without occasionally thinking PRITTY TOSH IS PRITTY and NOW HE DED OF TURCHWAD.)

And the iPod naming thing is just hilarious. XD
