POD Con't...

Feb 12, 2005 21:22

POD has been somewhat unsuccessful thus far. I woke up at 7:30am, which was great and all, but now I'm masturbating in red wind pants and a sweatshirt that smells like hamster bedding. That seems less than productive.

But, to review, here are qualifying POD activities from today:

-Wrote long, hand-written letters to my biological mother and grandmother. Mailed them. Very hard to do.
-Washed my whites, which meant folding 1.5 million socks. Also hard to do.
-Read the first 50 pages of Little Women, a book I've strangely never read.
-Had a nice phone chat with R. Roellke. Love that girl. We're like twins or something, in case you didn't know. So know it.
-Made broccoli souffle. Not bad, but grinch-green is not a color found in nature.
-Had dinner with Ryan, where I laid the foundation for the "I don't think so" talk. So hard.
-Found my future husband: I swear, I would marry this one

Tomorrow will be better. Not that today was a total flop; I just had more heart than energy. But I have many interesting goals for tomorrow. So don't you worry about a thing...

Except maybe me, because I'm going to be an old maid who collects cats. And I'm starting to look forward to it - this is why you need to worry. Unless the kid from the above video proposes to me. Then you can stop worrying.

Hello. Salut.
