First off let me say that I find the new form of the scene absolutely annoying. This whole neon dance scene is obnoxious. And the metalcore scene is just about as bad. So for most of the concert before Thursday...I was annoyed. Especially during the band before Thursday. A band from the United Kingdom called "Bring Me To The Horizon". First off they weren't great. But I predicted what would happen, because when the bands announced the other bands, they got a louder cheer than Thursday did. So they were just, metalcore, nothing special. The crowd tore it up regardless of where they were. The mosh pit really had no beginning or end. Between shoving people away and the stupid girls behind Morgan starting their own mini mosh pit and hitting her we ended up leaving the room. We went back in a little while later, but we stood in the back. When they finished they announced "We're going to Denny's after the show, if you want to meet us there". Morgan and I concurred that they should all go to Denny's. Sad thing is...most of them did. When they finished, about half the room left. I guess it's a sign of the times. Oh well, at least the crowd was much less obnoxious for Thursday, who were amazing. We were pretty close for a while, but then the pit opened up and we were put in the back behind said pit. By the last song we went back to the front and I got a guy trying to crowd surf on me. He got up but then started to fall and security grabbed him. Well when they started to pull him off the crowd his foot hooked around my neck and almost threw me down with it. I'm OK. If I was ambitious and it wasn't snowing and I wasn't working I would go see them in Rhode Island, where they said they are playing Full Collapse in its entirety. That would be cool to see. But anyways.

Thursday played:

Off Full Collapse:
Understanding In A Car Crash
Cross Out The Eyes

Off War All The Time:
For The Workforce, Drowning
Signals Over The Air
War All The Time

Off Five Stories Falling:
Jet Black New Year

Off A City By The Light Divided:
Counting 5-4-3-2-1
At This Velocity

Off Common Existence:
Resuscitation Of A Dead Man
As He Climbed The Dark Mountain
Friends In The Armed Forces
Beyond The Visible Spectrum
Circuits Of Fever

They opened with At This Velocity and ended with War All The Time.

EDIT: Forgot a song. And it was Rhode Island, not Long Island

That's it. Time for breakfast.
