Alright, so this week has been interesting for sure. After a lot of crying, a lot of not being able to concentrate on all of the work that I had to do, and finally finishing all of my work, the weekend was a godsend.
I knew that my luck was changing when, on my way to my writing class on friday, I saw a bunch of people in 60s clothes. I was like weird, I wonder what's going on. Then I noticed all of the camera equipment. It was American Dreams! One of my favorite shows was filming on campus! I love my school! I saw Roxanne and Drew and Meg (I was bummed I missed JJ, but Lek saw him flip off some crew members looking hot as hell so that is cool). It was so cool that they were filming on our campus. They were using the front of PED and using it as the front of the UPenn... so look for that episode. There's like a protest or something and they were screaming "Hell no we won't go."
Anyways, so then I go to Geology and my midterm that I thought I'd bombed I got an A-. God bless teachers who curve...
The rest of the weekend was really nice. We went to this Mardi Gras thing on Friday, but I went to bed early and got a ton of work done Saturday, too.
Today was Elise's birthday so we all went to Buca di Beppo in Pasadena. Good times. More talk of Jenny's obsession with meatballs, only made better by our waiter making like fifty comments using the word balls. "Ladies, here are your balls" "Sure, I'll light your balls on fire" (when we wanted him to light the candles we put in the meatballs) and finally "Ladies, would you like me to wrap up your balls?"
Then we went to 21 Choices (hot guy was not working, sadly) and got some yummy FroYo. We came back, watched American Dreams (sooo good) and now I'm thinking about just going to sleep. I'm proud though! I really accomplished stuff this weekend and I feel like things are getting back to normal a little bit, as much as they can anyway.
Tuesday starts Kim, Megan and my two-part plan. Part 1: Drink our troubles away until we can't remember why we started drinking in the first place. Part 2: Kiss lots of boys because we won't remember anyway. We'll see how much of this two-part plan is actually accomplished. I feel as though Part 1 will lead to us falling asleep in one of our rooms and Part 2 will be forgotten along with the troubles... I promise to keep everyone posted, if they are interested in the progress of the two-part plan.
Alright, this post has been long enough.
