About Mystery Date and V-Day...
So Thursday night I am sitting in Elise's room, half-studying for my Geology midterm the next day, half-watching The Apprentice, when Lisa calls and wants to go out. After some serious debate, I decide that if I don't already know Geology, I'm not going to know it, so I go out. We hit up Sigma Chi, AEPi, Pike and the 9-0. We had a lot of fun and I realized how much I'd missed hanging out with Lisa.
So Friday morning I roll out of bed, take my Geology midterm (which SUCKED but no amount of studying would have changed that), and crash. I was planning on blowing off my A-Phi invite (Mystery Date with the theme 'Like It's Your Job') because I was so tired and just hang out with my 4th floor girls. But NO! Kim, Lisa, and Katie call me to tell me that I have to go. Kim's date had a friend who wanted to go, so I ended up agreeing. I threw together this outfit (slutty secretary) and he was my boss. Everyone's outfits were so cute! My big sis Ashley and her date went as a cowgirl and her cow! Sam- I totally thought of you. Finally, the whole freshman Sigma Chi crew with their dates. Tom and Megan (secretary and boss), Kim and Pat (schoolgirl and professor), me and John (secretary and boss), Melanie (minus her cowboy), and Michelle and her date (Barbie and Ken).

As you can probably tell, it was a really fun night. We were on the 54th floor of some building downtown and it was amazing.
Somehow, Lisa and I got separated that night and she ended up going home early. Since my phone was in her purse and I knew she was going home for the weekend, I got a little concerned. I called her and called her, but there was no answer. Finally, I check my email and there is a note from Lisa telling me that she lost her purse which had my phone, my fake ID, and $40 in it. She lost her phone and all her stuff, too. She's working on finding it, but I just went ahead and bought a new phone. The phone company said there were like 10 calls made after she lost it, so I figure someone stole it out of the cab she left it in, used my phone until I suspended service, and then tossed it. GRRR! People who steal suck. I had so many phone numbers in there I have to try to recover now. It's such a pain. Oh well. The loss of the ID also hurts, but I can get another one.
NOW ONTO VALENTINE'S DAY:
So, my single friends and I decided to go out and treat ourselves to a special Valentine's Day dinner. We went to Buca di Beppo in Santa Monica. It was soooo good. I seriously ate waay too much again, but it was totally worth it. Then, Lynsey, with her eagle eyes, is like 'Oh my god, that's Frank from the Real World- Las Vegas.' We look around, and it is. He walks past our table to go to the bathroom and DAMN. The boy is really hot. TV did not do him justice. Tall, dark and handsome with an amazing smile. So I'm like hey maybe he brought some of his other Real World friends. And right then, who do we notice but Steven and Trishelle from the Real World- Las Vegas and Katie from some Road Rules I can't remember which. It's a total Real World/Road Rules Valentine's Day reunion with like 15 people. It was really cool. And let me tell you, Steven looks good in person.
So then we headed back to the dorms and settled in for a contented night's sleep. Today was supposed to be Disneyland day, but we decided to hold off until everyone could go. So stayed tuned for all of those pics. I'm actually kind of relieved just because I'm so tired and have so much work to do. Today can be Sally gets her life together day, which is almost as good as Disneyland day.
