So last night was really fun. After a long and productive day of thinking about doing all the reading I have to do, I decided that I wanted to go to the USC vs. ASU basketball game. Meg, Lex, Lisa, Kim and Nicole wanted to go, too so we headed off to the game with a lil' pit stop at Taco Bell (it's no Del Taco, but it'll do).
The game was fun, except for how the second we got there we started losing and never played well again. We just might be bad luck, but it was still fun. Then we walked back to get ready to go to the baseball party. We got all dressed but since Lisa and her suitemates weren't quite ready to go, we decided to check out the row first. There was literally not a soul outside. It was the weirdest thing. So we grabbed some drinks at Delta Tau Delta and then headed back to Fluor to pick up Lisa and sang "Get Low" and "Feel Me Up Buttercup" as we stumbled toward the baseball house. When we got there, we realized we had found the place where all of the attractive boys had been hiding. Woah! (that was for you, Alia). The baseball team is officially the new love of my life. Not any particular player, but the team as an entity. That's not entirely true. There are a few particular loves haha. Let's just say we all had fun ;)
After what must have been hours of dancing in the ridiculously hot baseball house (by the way, those boys can dance!), we headed back to the row just to see what was going on. Lisa and I ran into some seriously creepy boys who tried to convince us to go to Chano's with them, but that wasn't going to happen. Luckily, Don and bunch of his friends showed up right then and saved us. I love those boys!
We decided just to call it a night and call Campus Cruiser. We got picked up and squeezed like eight of us into a six person van. But hey, what's a little inadvertant cuddling between friends? On the way back, we saw like four ambulances in front of Chano's and decided that either it was food poisoning (not an unlikely option) or a shooting/stabbing (which is also not an unlikely option). I'm thinking it's a REALLY good thing Don and Co. showed up when they did. We got back to the dorms and Lex and I had a good talk and then I collapsed into bed.
Today was fun, too. Mostly just avoided reading and went to Santee Alley to shop with Meg and Lex. Got ANOTHER skirt (I know, shocking!) and two pink shirts (again, shocking I know). About how I love how cheap Santee is. Dommy, you must come visit and buy your boots.
And I found out Corinne got into ΑΔΠ at Vanderbilt like she wanted! Yay Corinne! Congratulations!
Ooh and hot Tom Brady is still in the playoffs, which is always good news. I like his last name, too... What do my Pardee girls think? haha
So basically, it's been a good weekend. Next week is going to be a little out of control with all the parties, so I better actually do some work tonight and tomorrow. Don't want to get too far behind already! Don't worry, I'm staying on top of everything. Love you all!
