It's dark here, like being trapped under a long and oppressive shadow. There is breathing, but it is in shallow, painful gasps.
Struggling. Clawing along the floor.
The sound of hoof beats drawing closer, flashes of white out of the corner of an eye. A roar, so close the heated breath could be felt along her back, and then she was tugged back harshly by whatever was coiled so tightly around her neck, sending her sprawling onto her back.
Red and green, corded and alive, with a hook digging into the base of her skull. It growled at her, the coil squeezing, her lungs silently screaming. Her vision blurred, but there was no mistaking the twin forms of powerful white unicorns as they came up along side, sharp horns pointing down at her.
A drop of blood splashed against her cheek.
Jinana awoke gasping for air, lashing out at nothing and sending the Dreamberry soaring across the room.
