Movie Prompt: The Fountain

Warnings: If you have seen the movie, (AND YOU SHOULD, IT'S GORGEOUS. THE IMAGERY, THE MUSIC, THE PLOT, EVERYTHING ABOUT IT. BEAUTIFUL) you should know this includes MAJOR CHARACTER DEATH, though this my AU so I DO WHAT I WANT.
The movie is very complicated. This is taken from IMDB, I changed some obvious stuff:
Three stories - one each from the past, present, and future - about men in pursuit of eternity with their love. A conquistador in Mayan country searches for the tree of life to free his captive King; a medical researcher, working with various trees, looks for a cure that will save his dying husband; a space traveler, traveling with an aged tree encapsulated within a bubble, moves toward a dying star that's wrapped in a nebula; he seeks eternity with his love.
In the original story, Tom/Cas travels through space for 500 years with the tree Izzi/Dean became after dying, (Cas planted a seed on his grave, following his wishes after hearing a story about never dying through the new life his body could be part of) hoping they would find Xibalba.
Xibalba is said to be a nebula with a dying star at its core. According to a Mayan myth of creation, Xibalba is the place where the heavens and the earth were born. You can read the most important details about the movie HERE.
The scene last I included means Dean was reborn when the tree collided with Xibalba and he and Cas were reunited in the stars.
