Hey guys! Sorry it's been a while, but my computer is still not fixed. But today was worth sharing, so I'm borrowing my sister's computer at the moment ^^
Went to work in the morning, and Wednesday means I was at the nanny job today. It wasn't too bad, just the general craziness of looking after home-schooled children. I did get that wonderful time of month, though, which gave me wicked cramps that I don't normally get on the first day. I went home at around 3:30ish, then took a nap before a friend of mine came by so we could shop for a graduation gift for another friend of ours.
The two of us went to the mall near my house where omg the new Disney store opened today!!! No, seriously, I was super excited for it. We checked it out - and I felt a little weird being in a Disney store wearing an Avatar: The Last Airbender T-shirt, haha - and I was way too happy to be there. We did look for stuff for our graduating friend, but I looking around for my own amusement, heehee. I even had a conversation with one of the store workers about A:tLA, haha.
Ended up spending way too much there; I bought a Hamm bank for our friend (it's symbolic...;D) and a Winnie the Pooh graduation plushie, then stuff for me like a Phineas and Ferb Perry plushie, a Tangled blue Pascal plushie (apparently, the blue and red Pascal plushies are being discontinued, so of course I had to buy one lol), and a The Rescuers Bernard plushie! I have never seen a Bernard plushie before! And apparently, neither had the cashier who rang me up, until she started working there lol.
Afterwards my friend and I walked around the mall a little bit more. I got an almond pretzel and mango lemonade at Auntie Anne's, which was honestly the first thing I had eaten all day. Then we headed to the Apple store because my friend needed a new case for her iPhone. She didn't get one, but we did stop by the Godiva store on the way and split a mint chocolate bar. It was tasty. Finally we headed to Barnes and Noble to get a card for our graduating friend, and I was able to pick up the next volumes for Skip Beat and Fairy Tail.
Went home, took a shower, and am now listening to the Christian band Hyland's new album, Weights and Measures. It's seriously all I've been listening to since I got it last week. Honestly, for those of you out there into Christian music, it's worth listening to...especially if you like Christian bands such as Anberlin. I think there's a place on Facebook where you can stream the music so you can listen to the songs without buying them...yet.
Anyway, that's enough out of me. Now I'm going to see if I can get some writing done... after I take something for cramps...
