So I have a friend who works in EFP, which is a production company that works with Christian bands, such as promoting shows, helping them find venues, etc. She volunteers there, and she's made a lot of friends with a lot of the bands that are in association with EFP.
The reason I'm telling you that is because of the dream I had last night. This is how the dream went:
One day, I walked into my garage to discover it was full of turtles (and when I say turtles, I mean they looked like real turtles, but they had facial expressions and emotions that you'd only see in cartoons and such). People were coming and going looking and playing with the turtles, and even I found myself become attached to one of them. So my mom let me keep one (that's weird in itself, because my mom does not like turtles as pets). The next day (still in the dream), my friend comes over and explains that she was the one who put the turtles in my garage, because EFP was selling them (for....some reason). And while she's over at my house explaining this, she's online looking up stuff (something to do with a band, because she does that a lot), and I'm playing with my turtle, when suddenly she pipes up, "Hey, this is a really good song." I'm not sure what song she was referring to, because that's when I woke up.
So I told my friend all about this when I got out of bed. And she tells me that one of her band friends that she met through EFP had actually written a song about a turtle! How weird is that?
It's not the first time I've ever had a dream like that, where it somehow related to something in real life. But I haven't had one of those since my senior year in high school. It was really weird. But hey, maybe that means that I'll really like the song he wrote about the turtle?
In other news, has anyone seen that show on Nicktoons Network, Zevo-3? I've seen one-and-a-half episodes of it (not even joking), and it's okay. It really reminds me of Static Shock, honestly. It was okay. I could see myself casually watching it when nothing else is on, but I wouldn't seek out new episodes. Yet somehow, from just the one-and-a-half episodes I saw of it, I already find myself shipping two of the characters. Hahaha....
Also, when I got the mail today, I found an American Girl catalogue that was for the previous owners of the house. I used to love American Girl, so I was going through it. It was just so cute, and it made me feel so nostalgic (when I was younger, I used to want one of those dolls so badly, teehee). But I also realized how ridiculous it was. I mean, some of the accessories were just crazy. With the dolls, you could order a nail kit (complete with three fake nail files...), a travel kit....there was even a camper! And the approximate weight of the camper was 43 pounds! What the heck?
