Darn my weird, fangirl-ish mind.

So I was watching Scary Godmother 2: The Revenge of Jimmy today. I know it's kind of weird, but I like watching it, especially because I enjoy seeing the little Orson/Hannah moments (it pleases my shipping heart). But as I was watching it, I found myself start noticing all the little moments between Skully and ( Read more... )

Lol, it's okay. I'm the same way. And actually my sister is the same with me too. She can almost always tell who I'm shipping before I even admit it. She's kind of an antishipper by nature. She thinks, "If the writers give us that then that's what they give us." If she ships...she's good at hiding it, lol.

lol It's not like I can help it either. I'll just be watching something when all of a sudden...BAM I'm shipping two characters. XD

It kind of depends with my sister. Sometimes she'll be like me and ship something, and sometimes she just won't care. It depends on what she's watching. But if she does ship something, it's to a lesser extent than I do haha

Same. I mean, it's not like I set out wanting to ship. Sometimes I'm positive my life would be much less frantic without a ship. Sometimes I'd like to watch a show without forming a ship. But that rarely happens, lol.

I think I'm starting to turn my sister into more of a shipper, but she's still strictly canon for the most part and sometimes opposed to my ships because they're not cannon. At the moment though, I got her to admit to being a Tawni/Nico fan from Sonny With A Chance. And she hasn't admitted it yet, but I think she's with me in the Teddy/Emmett ship from Good Luck Charlie. Not sure though. :P And she's by no means as obsessive with anything as I am.

Exactly! lol It's like our brains are just waiting for the chance to ship.

Yeah, my sister is mostly canon too, even if she doesn't like a particular canon couple. She does have some non-canon ships though. Like, we're both Zutara shippers in Avatar: The Last Airbender. But she's more okay with the canon couple than I am lol

Yes! I've decided that being an obsessive shipper is geek speak for hopeless romantic or something, lol. Because I mean...looking at some of the ships on my ship list, I still ask myself, "Why do I ship this?" but I just can't make myself stop. Maybe it's a disorder? XD

Sounds a lot like my sister. Like, from what I know she likes Sam/Freddie more on iCarly, but chooses to ship Carly/Freddie more because she thinks it only makes sense because he liked Carly first. And lol, yeah, that would be my sister. To my knowledge, Lilly/Oliver from Hannah Montana is the only couple she's shipped from the very beginning of the series and would have become actively angry with the show had it gone Miley/Oliver at any point. Other than that, she would put up with the canon generally well even if she had another ship she was attached to. Me...I wish I could be so level headed. Sometimes it takes me awhile to get over the utter feeling of betrayal when it doesn't go how I'd like or ends before giving some sort of closure or whatever else.

lol It might be XD

My sister is a little more of a shipper than that, lol. She got angry like the rest of us did when Avatar turned out to be Kataang. She just got over it quicker XD But she has some ships that she really ships, and others she doesn't care too much about. She's not above gloating if a certain ship wins, though, like she did with Kyoru from Fruits Basket.

But yeah, for the most part, she's not as big a shipper as I am. I'd love to get over some of the shipping disappointment the way she does. Sometimes I can't get over them ^^;;
